George Allen is a Racist Fuck?

This is the GOP presidential frontrunner...a California born "good ole boy" that likes to strut around in a cowboy hat and boots. I'm not so sure the cowboy act is such a smart idea after a certain Texan's tainting.

The Senator starts by saying, "My friends were gonna run this campaign on positive, constructive ideas." then he proceeds to call an Indian cameraman a "macaca".
While he was Governor of Virginia he issued a proclamation that declared April as Confederate History Month. The declaration, which heralded the Civil War as "a four-year struggle for independence and sovereign rights" made no mention of slavery.
Allen sponsored a resolution that expressed "sorrow upon the loss" of William Munford Tuck, a Virginia politician who opposed every single piece of civil rights legislation while he was in Congress during the 1950s and 1960s.
He was opposed to creating a holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. and also opposed the 1991 Civil Rights Act in Congress.
In 1994, he said he would accept a membership at a Richmond social club with a well-known history of discrimination. He later revoked the membership after a huge public outcry.
A confederate flag is proudly displayed on his living room wall. "Part my flag collection", Allen contends. I wonder if he ever hung the rest of those flags and adorned them in a simular fashion.
His obsession with the confederate flag goes back pretty far...he used to drive around with one on his Mustang and plastered them all over his high school when he was younger.
He spraypainted graffiti on the walls of his high school back in 70s to insight racial tensions.
Allen did a guest cameo as a Confederate Officer in the 2003 movie "Gods and Soldiers". Not that big of a deal but it's an interesting fact.
He claims the noose that hangs from a tree in his law office is "a lasso" and has "nothing to do with lynching". Whether the noose symbolizes western style justice or the racial lynchings served up to African Americans, it gives great insight to his thinking. Either Allen is making a racist statement or he supports the same type of wild west mentality that got us into Iraq.
One last note, it's not racist but ominous notheless. His sister wrote a memoir in which she stated, "George hoped someday to become a dentist and that he seen dentistry as a perfect profession...getting paid to make people suffer."
No fucking shit.

You don't know shit about the Civl War, do you? If so, the slavery issue wouldn't have made it into your argument. You do realize that the north chose to 'fight slavery' only because they saw it as a polarizing political move, right? They didn't give a shit about black people in slavery, they just wanted to win the hearts and minds of their 'enemy'. So, if you wanted him to make a mention of THAT, then I suppose you're right, he forgot to bring up politics for once.
