* Coaches and personal trainers who tell you that the key to what you're doing can be summed up in a series of words that somehow always end up beginning with the same letter ("the three S's: strength, speed, and stamina!")
* People who insist that you can "tell a lot about a guy" from the way he wears his hat or some shit like that
* Film critics who use the phrase "style over substance" in their reviews (that goes double if the exact words are "a triumph of style over substance")
* Police officers who tell you that they themselves never speed except when in a chase
* Anyone who begins a sentence with, "I'm not racist but..." (translation: "I am racist and...")
* People who tell you, "We're all racist. Everyone makes assumptions about people based on race. We all do it." Speak for yourself, bigot!
* Anyone who runs a store with a pointlessly pseudo-medieval name like "Ye Olde Dildo Shoppe"
* People who evade your refutations by using the old philosopher's trick of asking you for the unspeakably obvious meaning of the keyword of each sentence out of your mouth (even if that word happens to be "marmalade" or "sky") until you get tired of their bullshit and walk off
* Actors and directors who describe what they do as "edgy", even though this doesn't really mean anything, or they have no idea what that is if it does
* Metalheads who argue incessantly over which bands are "metal", or which bands are what type of metal, despite the absolute subjectivity of the mostly meaningless musical genre labels
* Teachers who refuse to tell their elementary school students that they have the day off, so they insist that it's some mysterious thing called "teacher's business"
* Politicans who claim...oh fuck it. Let's just say "politicians"
* Anyone on TV with more than sixteen gallons of oil or gel in their hair (examples: Jerry Lewis telethons, numerous news anchors, every televangelist who's ever been born)
* People who insist that not only is "Stairway to Heaven" the most overplayed song of all time, it also cannot possibly be played enough.
* Novelists who subtitle their novels "a novel" (if you don't understand why this is so pretentious and dumb, consider what it would be like to see "Citizen Kane: A Movie")
* Anyone who has at any point in their life uttered the sentence, "I'm a lover, not a fighter"
* People who claim to have finished the book "Heart of Darkness"
* Anyone who calls at least five different people "Nazi" over the course of a minute
* Psychologists who talk like they want you to feel sympathy for someone who tortured six infants before boiling his mother in his own smegma and force-feeding her brains to an orthodontist
