Remembrance of My Death
Around, all around, the angels gather.
My dread grows as the dagger of your words falls against my heart.
It slays me, and darkly my
blood drips
to the dead grass.
In pain I call your name
while death approaches.
Now alone, my essence falls upon cold eyes.
This is my doom

A God that is Yours
Slender beams of moonlight enter
this darkened hall as I kneel,
always fearful, always silent,
frozen here,
waiting.
Accusing forms wrought in panes of glass loom as
dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
penetrating my naked soul.
Paleness on a deathless face.
I raise my head, now crying out for
this impassive Heaven.

just another dang vampire wannabe
It is a night of blood, a song of dark desire,
wolves vent their cry. The beautiful one
rises.
Mist shrouds her deathly form,
an eternal wanting.
Her raven hair cascades over
fragile milk-white shoulders, and her
full really very deeply crimson lips part slightly, to taste the
blood streaming from the
pale flesh beneath
her.
Now a night of ecstasy,
I hunger.

What pisses me off beyond words(forget the modern day "Goths,") is that the real masters of Gothic lit get bunched in with the hot topic crowd. Lord Byron, Sir Walter Scott, these 19th century men wrote real literature, and were our equivalent of rock gods today. A travesty, and I hardly scratched the surface.

I like that the choices for "gothic hair colors" are:
raven, black, midnight, inky black, ebon and silken
to go with skin options of:
pale, pale, pale, pale, pale and delicate, pale and tragic, fragile milky-white, translucent ivory, and white
