Thats as far as I had gotten. I was going to write an angry rant about how when you sacrifice liberty for security you lose everything, et cetera. I was then going to issue an edict for rebellion and revolution, and for us to stand up and forcibly take our government back away from the assholes running it. I was further going to advocate the killing of everybody and everything that stood in our way. I was going to post my name, address, and phone number so the fucking SS could come and knock my door down without having to bother Mr. Cilfone at his abode.
Then I became afraid.
I became afraid that I would become a target of the agents in charge of wiping out opposition in our nation.
I became afraid that they would plant false evidence on me and 'expose' me of some henious crime so disgusting it boggles the mind.
I became afraid that I would be blackballed from my profession, a career I have worked hard to get to where it is and is progressing very well right now.
I became afraid that I would be ruined.
all for the sake of saying what I felt.
This is modern fascism.
A citizen of this country, a reasonable person by all standards, feeling fear that his government will come and take his liberties away for expressing a point of view?
Isn't this how it starts?
I want everyone to know this. The revolution is coming.
We are only going to tolerate fear for so long before we fight back and make those oppressors fear us.

No questions asked, I'm not surprised you're a little worried. Let's face it, if you did start down that road, you'd probably at least find yourself fired.
Nonetheless, counted amongst the membership of the International Socialist Organisation (which pretty much stands for what you're afraid to say on this matter, though I don't know for sure whether you'd agree on how to implement it), for example, are people of all backgrounds - including, significant considering the racism used against them, Muslims. Not one of them is, to my knowledge, being held on terrorism charges.
The problem being, regardless, that 0th unwritten amendment. This is implied by the right of liberty and pursuit of happiness, as no caveat is noted for restrictions in the case of harm, negligent or wilful, in the pursuit of profit above human needs (even where, in some of the most gross cases, actual laws cover this). The almighty dollar remains supreme, in the position for which it helped establish modern 'democracy'.
What this would require is an organisation against the whole rotten thing by people who have a collective interest in real fairness.
