And thus D-Prime Madness, the ultimate test of Uber skill, begins for a third time.
D-Prime Madness III. All awesome. No bullshit. Ubermadness sucks.
D-Prime Madness II by Darko may kill pets, but D-Prime Madness III by D-Prime can kill buses chalk full of school children driven by Razor, SO WATCH THE FUCKING BBQ OUT.
Hopefully this one will go without failure and DPM will get its credibility, as the bullshit-free alternative, back!

How The Preliminary Round Will Work:
All of those who wish to participate in D-Prime Madness III will have until one minute after 11:59pm EST (UST) Saturday September 17th, 2005 (two weeks) to submit a post to Ubersite with one of the following five titles, using the User account they registered with. Each post submitted must have that exact title in it and be linked to in a review on this page for validation. Those who have not officially joined already may do so during the preliminary round by submitting a standard post.

Because this is the preliminary "ADD" round, all posts must have fewer than 1 000 words and may not have an attachment. If you submit multiple valid posts with these titles, I will in fact count the one with the highest rating; however, you may only have one post for each title (if you submit multiples of one title, the earliest will be used). You are rewarded for your effort in D-Prime Madness. I personally will -2 any post without a relation to its title, but there are virtually no rules; get the rating how you like.
After the preliminary round is up, each user's rating is recorded, and those with the top 16 ratings make it to the "real deal" bracket section of the tournament. As of now I believe that there are about 22-24 official participants, so one's chances of making it past the Preliminary Round are high.

This is a contest in which I shall not compete. Prime asked if I would be an impartial judge
of spurious ratings, and I agreed. My biggest gripe in a contest is the drive-by
"-2 No Comment." If you believe it deserves a -2, state valid reasons describing precisely
what was bad.

In every round after this one, there will be a system for people who make blatantly bullshit ratings. In essence, the system is complain to my trusted friend Bubba who is not participating and I know to be impartial; he will decide. If he doesn't get back to you, I will make the decision (but this does not apply if I complain, unfortunately.)
It can't be because the guy has bad judgement, but because it's obviously a personal vendetta that's making him give you a bad rating. For example, if a -2 'nigger' from Wiggles makes me lose a round, I'll get the official word from Bubba to discount it.

I doubt that, but yes. If there are more than 32 preliminary submissions, I will increase the number of participants in the "real deal" to 32, and 64, and 128, and 256, but not 512. I can't deal with that.
