Red, Screaming, Siren
I watched it race down the street
Around the corner,
Into the parking lot
Where it finally found a stopping place,
Lights still flashing,
But no sound.
This time,
They didn't need the ambulance
With its high-tech machinery
And life-reviving serums
Instead,
They needed a blanket
To warm
Her cold legs -
and unsteady arms,
pale face,
chilly nose,
And her confused,
But loving eyes
Which I have adored for so long.

let me make a little remark here.
1)with a normal heartbeat (without tachycardia/bradicardia) we don't shock you.
if you're dying of hypothermia, we'll throw a blanket on. and the machines we have nowadays, they decide when to shock, we just hook em up.
and no, we don't love you.
