Men Suck
My son's dad is taking me to court. I've been a single mom since I was 16. I've raised this child with minimal help from him. My family has been supporting us, but now I've got my own place were my son can have his own room. I was finally happy with my life, good job, getting a new place, money was starting to be my friend again... And then this jerk decides he wants more "rights". Oh yea, and he wants me to pay for his lawyers so that he can take my son on holidays and all school vacations...
But does he want to help pay $325/mo for PreSchool? Buy school shoes, clothes, supplies, lunches? Where was he when I was spending 300$/mo on baby formula and diapers? Not helping me... But of course, now my son's fun... he can play at the park, feed the ducks, ride the rides at Chuck E Cheese... Now, he's fun... and now the guy wants to have 'rights'... Men Suck... Or maybe it's just him...

While Uber is certainly a good place for random bitching and complaining... if you are going to simply play the victim in life then perhaps you deserve what you get.
1) He is your child's father. Denying him rights is just selfish and probably quite damaging to your child.
2) Stop whining about him not coughing up his end of the fiscal responsibility. While lawyers are involved be proactive about getting paid. You are in a position to compromise... and quite frankly he should see his son so its win - win.
