I'm going to be honest with you. If when you're home alone, you don't occasionally put on some 80's Madonna and dance around your house/apartment, there is something seriously wrong with you.

People take themselves far too seriously. In my expert opinion, unless you are in some big time, hotshot job like night manager at Taco Bell, you should be spending 80% of your time with a smile on your face.

If I'm not working, I'm with friends that make me laugh or I'm making my friends laugh, or I'm crying my eyes out watching the Notebook. Either way, it's a goodtime.

The best comedy television show ever was Arrested Development. It got cancelled after the third season got reduced to 13 episodes. I HATE the fact that bullshit like Singing with the Stars will go 15 seasons while the smartest, funniest half hour on TV gets cancelled because Fox couldn't figure out a way to dumb it down so the American public would find it appealing. COME ON!

Always Sunny in Philadelphia is pretty great, too. So is the Office.

A couple friends and I were talking about sex and when I seemed a little desperate, they asked how long it's been since I was in the sack.

"Sunday," I said matter-of-factly, "yup, Sunday will be a year."

It hasn't really been a year but it feels like it.

A gallery near my apartment that sells all sorts of art is selling some of my photos. They're all going for between $10 and $25.

I know that's not a lot of money so I haven't quit my day job or anything but it feels amazing to walk by and see something I made in the window.

I've been really hung up on creating as much stuff as I can. I've been painting and taking crazy pictures and even writing a bunch of stuff. It's either because I really like making stuff or I'm afraid of dying. I wonder which it is.

My advice to you: buy Arrested Development on DVD. Make your friends smile and have a smile yourself. Create shit. Who cares if its good or not? Close the shades, bump "get into the groove" and strike a pose. vogue vogue vogue

I would enjoy the American office a lot more if i hadnt split my laugh bone laughing to the English version. Still, it goes alright.

Arrested development. What can i say, its fuckin awesome.

thanks DR. its not a stuffy gallery either. its a cool place where they have paintings from 10 bucks to thousands of bucks, and they sell rare vintage playboys and sculptures and shit. its not like my pics are being displayed in all their glory or anything, they're just in a bin called "starving artists". i went there looking for some cool frames and i showed the dude a picture and he liked it and said i could sell them in the bin.

lisa, its true about the laugh track. if you like edgy comedy watch Always Sunny in Philadelphia. i love you.

Awesome. I was just thinking about how some of my favorite comedy shows (Arrested Development, Family Guy) have been cancelled at one point. And I can't believe how many times I've read or heard that The Office isn't funny. Yes, it is; it's fucking hilarious.

Morons need a laugh track to tell them when a joke is funny.

A perfect two on 17 reviews? For this? Uber has completely disappeared up its own arsehole, it seems.

OMG HEPATITIS!!!!!

Here is your very first +2 from me dude, for a post that doesn't read as though you smashed your forehead into the keyboard, for shaving your head (I have recently too) and for the many, many far more retarded people who have arrived since you.

"Always sunny" takes "arrested developements" lunch money.

It all happened at the beginning of that turbulent decade known as the
eighties. Those were idealistic days: the candidacy of John Anderson,
the rise of Supertramp. It was an exciting time to be young.
