I thought, being as large a community as this place is, there might be some musicians who could help me out here?
I just bought second-hand a Fostex DMT-8VL 8-track recorder. It came complete with a 440-page instruction manual written by, of course, the Chinese.
IN English.
But it was still written by the Chinese. Hence, I have no idea how to use this thing.
My setup -
Fender strat
Marshall Valvestate quarter stack
Alesis digi effects center
Condenser mic
Reason 2.0 Software (on PC) ... and about 10 different cables I'm sure I even need.
What I want to try and do is create a vocal, drum, and two separate guitar tracks but I have no idea where to start.
Please help!!?

Your equipment will allow you to do the guitar and (grainy, poor quality) vocals, but the best you can hope for in drums is whatever's in the software. It'll impress a 14-year-old, but not an actual musician.
While your significant other will surely appreciate your efforts to record a love song to him/her (Baby I love you, I'm your king of sweet romance, don't you know that I'm singing to you just to get into your pants [yeah]), please don't expect that it'll actually sound good unless you upgrade your rig some. Music stuff's cheap these days - sell some plasma and buy a drum machine. If you're a white American male, that's the closest you'll ever come to "paying dues to sing the blues".

This isn't the place for help.
But here we go.
Lay your drum/bass bedtracks down first.
Condenser into input channel A or 1
Strat to effects processor - (if stereo you should record as such - needs 2 cable outs)
Effects processor to 8 track or use amp to recorder.
Lay bed track.
Go back and record over vocals.
Fuck Reason use Pro Tools.
Failure of which call a guitar tech in your trailer park. I'm sure that there is someone there who will trade ass sex for info. Worked for your mom right?
