You know, I worried about someone in here confusing me with that other Michelle. I was out of pocket during most of the time she was raising a ruckus around here. I never even bothered to look at her picture. I suppose I wouldn't mind at all if someone mistook me for an 18 year old if they were judging by sight alone. I'm not gonna hold my breath though. I did post a picture of myself and my daughter on here, just before Mother's Day.
Don't give it another thought Manfre. I wasn't offended or insulted. I felt kind of bad about how harsh I was with this girl, but then decided that if she chooses to take the advice of a crack-pot on the internet then she really is alarmingly stupid and shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Maybe crackergirl is asking WHY this double standard exists at all? What is the anthropological root cause of it?
It goes back to an age before we had the wheel, philosophy, and had chat rooms. Males of nearly all species need to know that their children are their own. If a woman sleeps around, he can never be entirely sure (before genetic testing, of course) that his kid is his. If the woman is totally chaste, at least then he can be reasonably certain.
The double standard is mostly genetic.

If you want to reduce this to an animalistic question of procreation then the truth of it is that the female of the species chooses a mate based on specific qualities that she desires in her offspring. This is one of the reasons that males in the animal kingdom tend to be more colorful. Color denotes health and females want healthy offspring.
In many cases, males are not burdened by having to stick around to help raise their young and are capable of impregnating multiple females. That is why you only need one male lion for a tribe. Since at it's basest level, sex is about procreation males are naturally inclined to behave like chest thumping apes trying to impress females with their virility and health and females behave like choosy cock blockers only mating with the most desirable of the available males.
This will always be the case for those who are psychologically still living in caves getting fire from where the rain gods strike a tree with their flaming fingers of anger and hunting down the wild beasts foraging in the savannas.

Uuummmm, well Manfre, you see, I was being completely sarcastic. I never thought anyone would think I was serious. Good God man, I have a 15 year old daughter myself. The age old predjudice against 'easy' girls coupled with the "atta boy" encouragement for the star quarterback is just the way it is.
There are innumerable scientific studies, whose data I could have cited here, that prove this very real inequality or double standard in the matter of human sexuality. For instance, did you know that if a married couple - or any man and woman who live together - are seperated over a period of time, the chemical makeup of the man's ejaculation secretions change? His secretions take on the new role of killing any other man's sperm that may be inside of his partner. Fascinating and intiguing findings on human behavior and sexuality emerge almost every day. One commen thread can be seen through-out most of the data - our bodies change and react and develope over our lives without even a conscious thought from our minds.
All of man's might and will has been forced onto almost every function of the human body. The human body's sexual functions and reproductive processes have been chronicled and studied probably since the beginning of time. Mankind's ability to force his will on the human reproductive cycle is a reletively new and fledgling ability. We can increase fertility, but cannot seem to increase it by only 1 or 2 in number. We wind up with women giving birth to 7 or 8 children at a time. We can decrease our fertility - not to the 100% effective mark, though. We can give any man an erection, but has anything (other than KY) been done to increase the female sexual urge?
This is the way of the world, and this girl - Cracker? - has stated her observance of this obvious but unwritten rule. I give her that. She knows enough to see that it is good to be a hard boy but it is hard to be a good girl. I even ignored her spelling and grammer. It just seemed to me that she was whining and complaining too much, like she wanted someone to tell her it's okay to be a slut. That's between her and her parents and her God.
I raise my kids all day and I come here to escape that part of my life. I was in no mood to help in the raising of another child, a child with no parents in site. A child that cannot manage after three seperate tries to post correctly. Sometimes you have to let nature have it's way with the weak or feeble. It strengthens the herd.

Its more of a challenge for a girl to not have sex then it is for her to have sex.
With a guy all he has to do is hang out at home and he wont get laid. If a girl does the same thing then the guys that wanna bone her call her and hound her till she puts out.
Thats why girls are called hoes and looked down upon and guys are called players and are praised.

I've been wondering recently why society in general (especially Western cultures) have such a double standard on sex. If a woman has sex multiple times with multiple partners, she'll labeled a slut, tramp, or whore and is in general looked down on. If a guy does the EXACT SAME THING he's given high fives. Why? In my ever-so-young and fragile opinion, it comes down to what is the more difficult option for either sex. Women have an easier time getting sex, either because they have the T and the A, or because guys are just hornier than girls. Guys, on the other hand, have a harder time getting sex. Its usually (especially in younger circles) the guys who are doing all the hounding and pursuing, and the girls who have to beat them off with a stick. (bash me all you want on those assumptions, thats exactly what they are, generalizations made for the purpose of my theory).
So for girls, its more difficult to resist all the male advances and choose celibacy. Should she give in to temptation and let the guys hit it, she is labeled a slut, because she chose the EASIER ROUTE.
For guys, its more difficult to get out there and get laid. they could stay at home and be dorks and remain celibate, but its harder to go out and try. If they get some, then they are given high fives and are proud of themselves, because they chose the DIFFICULT ROUTE.
See where im getting? society has chosen to reward (with reputation, praise, etc) those who WORK HARDER, whether its keeping the chastity belt intact (for girls) or gettin some poontang (guys).
