I can't remember back to my own experience, however exciting it may have been, but I'm wondering if nipples get hard when women breastfeed.
Actually I'm not wondering because I'm sure they do get hard, they must or tots would be sucking on nothing but a sack.
We agree then that the nipple gets hard.
Now seeing that it's hard would that equal to some level a slight arousal?
And if mom is aroused at a child suckling her tit, wouldn't that be to some extent pedophilic?
Would it in turn even be incestuous?

umm - the pain is actually quite considerable. and it's not really hard - more like swollen.
think about milking a cow - does it's teats get hard when it's being milked? If they did, the milk wouldn't really come out as well. Same kind of thing.
And the "pleasure" a woman gets from feeding her baby isn't a physical thing - it's hormonal and emotional - from the smell and sight of the baby (which is what helps release the milk anyhow) and mental - from being able to provide and care for someone.
If you don't think so, ask a mom when she's at her tiredest. At that point, the only reason she doesn't bottle feed is because it takes more effort to fix up a bottle than it does to stick the kid on the breast.

I've heard that it is pleasurable to nurse a baby, and that there is an evolutionary reason for it: it keeps the female primate interested in feeding the baby, rather than tossing it into a ditch like she would otherwise be apt to do. Also there are chemicals that are released into the mother's system during nursing that are beneficial to the baby, and a lot of other scientific crap I can't think of right now.
