Well, here's my first post and I'm afraid it may not be cheery although it probably should be cheery, I don't know, its bloody Friday and who would know.
Everyone raves about it being Friday. I don't, Friday is nearly as bad as Tuesday. Tuesday is bad because it's the second day of the week and there's still three more to go. Monday has gone and that feeling you get when things are fresh and new has gone. Friday though, it's the working day before the weekend. The last few hours before all things can be pushed from brains and replaced with the single purpose of having fun. The point I'm trying to make is Friday takes fucking ages. The anticipation of Friday night means Friday day takes four times longer to piss off. Friday is a painful day full of people telling you to cheer up because it's Friday. I hate Friday, I have decided, its officially the second rankest day of the week not including the evening because that's the weekend and a whole different category all together.
It being Friday you would think that I'd be over the moon that the weekend was nearly upon me again and I have a whole two days before I have to come back and hang out in the vortex of brain suck which is my desk.
Currently, I can't be arsed to spend the rest of my day squeezing that last ounce of imagination out of my already over exhausted brain for the purposes of work. Much more fun to sit here and drivel on a page than make said page make any sense.
So what to do with my weekend?
Well, my big sister is coming up tomorrow and has requested my presence at a piss up in 'the other town' tomorrow night. I'll explain 'other town' sometime in the future maybe. My brother might come out to but who knows what's going to happen there; he's suffering from recent marriage fuck up... And well... I can imagine the state he might get in, although his dancing may be worth the 15 mile taxi trip. A 6ft cabbage patch kid drunk and dancing! Fucking great!
I live right on top of the biggest, steepest hill in the world. Not really, but it feels like it when my transportation is ruled solely by the power of trainer clad feet and it's pissing down.
Onto wind - rant coming on..... Where the fuck does it come from anyway? Stupid bloody question, I can probably go ask any person worth their salt in geography but hell! What is going on on this bloody island? It never stops. Wind in the eyes, wind up the arse rather than out arse, wind inside clothes, wind messing up hair. I can't remember the last time I did anything with my hair, there's no point, the wind has its own views on what it should look like - usually twig filled compost heap. In case you haven't guessed, I live in the windiest hole in the world. There are no TREES, it winds a lot!
Ok, I think rant is over and I'm thinking I've probably written quite a bit for first post and really want to go home. After all, I think I've cheered myself up having skived the last half hour and done exactly diddly squat. I'm going to get very drunk in every sense of the word binge drink and on Sunday have a hangover.
