Ok, I know here on Uber, that I am pretty new to the forum, and have yet to really know any of you. But for the past few days I have skimmed over some of the recent submissions and reply's, I can't help but wonder, what the hell has crawled up everyone's ass?
The last post in particular that I saw was submitted by McGinney, and he was asking what everyone thought that picture was that he had submitted. As a joke and for pure fun. (or at least that's the way I perceived it) Well, the guy immediately starts getting called a fucking idiot and everything else b/c some moron takes it seriously.
Not to mention on other posts, I can't help but laugh, when I read some of the reply's and realize, that there has now started a whole complete argument within the post, that has not a damn thing to do with the post itself. Just people going back and forth at eachother, throwing insults, calling names, acting well.....like a 4th grader. I laugh my ass off the whole time and really can't believe that some people can really act so lame online. And I say "online" loosly, b/c it's sad and scary to admit, but some of these idiots really do act this way in the 'real world'.
I really do like this site, and yes I do understand the meaning of it all, and am fully aware that people read posts, and can choose to leave pretty much any comment they want. But I myself have even experienced the 'bashing' if you will, just by leaving my simple expression or point of view on a post. I have been called a "bitch" and everything else, just for simply doing what everyone else did, and posting a comment. I realize also that there are cliques, and really have no comment on this, all I can say is it reminds me of highschool and I'm glad I really have expressions of my own, and not those that are based off of what my little group of "friends" might think.
And before you start babbling on to me about "online respect" and being "jealous", please spare me and everyone else the wasted keystroke, b/c I laugh at "online respect" and trust me, to be "jealous" of anything on the internet, you'd have to be a pretty sorry person, who really has no life of their own. I just wanted to make a statement and call out all the hypocritical assholes on this site, that really do nothing more than bitch and whine. I mean if the post really sucked that bad, fucking move on and save us all your babbling bullshit comment and rude insults. You're making yourself look like a real ass.
And if your waiting for me to list off names, I won't, these people im sure, know who they are.
Go ahead and let the bashing begin, call me out on any typos you see, and mis-spellings I might have had, call me whatever name you want....none of it phases me, and I actually like a good "argument" , ask hidden.

nah,b/c to argue i'd have to disagree with you, and last night I was so tired when I wrote that i'm sure there are tons if typos and mis-spellings...lol.
But I could always call you a name like 'dickhead' or something like that and we could go at it..?...lol

Firstly, flaps, Maddox is OK, but the joke is old and nowadays he's mostly, well... meh.
Queen - welcome, don't let anyone get you down. I don't believe you need to "earn your srtipes" here, but remember you are a new personality at an on-line Kaffee Klatch and it will take time to get to know people.

Oh, two other things my dear. It's almost a small cult here, for the most part, a lot of the uber-vets post things not to be intellectuals, but be amusing in an original way and end up having thier post being linked on http://www.boredatwork.com/ .

Ok maybe I should have re-phrased what I said..?
It doesn't phase me in one little bit, that what is done, is done, or what is said, is said. I just wanted to let ppl know my take on things, and hopefully make some ppl here more aware of the fact they act so stupid.
But I do however see your point and respect it. I guess to make a post about it made it seem as though I cared about the subject, thus making me a hypocrit....lol.....

As a younger poster, admittably I've tried to correct my typos and not go completely nuts, except for this:

Queen, ignore the fillibusters and realise that there is a great deal of immaturity on this site, as elsewhere. You may also wish to note that some of the younger posters here demonstrate a greater level of mental and emotional maturity than some of the more seasoned campaigners.
If you don't like it, leave... but if you do like it remember that it's not a perfect world. It's just us.
