Thanks for the tips. I appreciate the help, but I think that I will leave this post. Prehaps at a later time if I post a story of some sort I will try again to post a picture with it. Someone else suggested that and I think I will take that advice.

open your photo in ANY commercial or freeware photoshop-like application. Irfanview is one of the best freeware viewers ---> http://www.irfanview.com/ Download & install the app. Open your photo in the app. Chose save as from file menu. chose format to save as. presto.

I've tried bitmap and tif. I figured that's where my problem lies. I was trying to get it into jpeg but I don't know how to do that. I think that i will just leave posting to you uber smart people and keep to my lurking. It's more fun that way, not so frustrating :)
