I understand what you're saying Circe, but that's not really what it's about...
For instance, I chose B (Cameron Diaz) because I prefer women of a more "northern stock." I like chicks with paler skin, light eyes, freckles and what-not. Irish women, especially natural red heads, make me absolutely stupid. I've never really been all that attracted, in general, to women of Italian/Greek/Turkish or Hispanic decent. This is not to say, I don't find option A beautiful, or that option B is somewhat a... poor... representitive. Cameron Diaz has a great body, but looks a bit like a cartoon character.
These two women are really both quite beautiful, but both in such drastically different ways. As it stands, it's simply a matter of taste. Now if you were to, say, place Scarlette Johansson next to Elisha Cuthbert, or Jessica Alba next to Adriana Lima things would be more complicated.
