I usually don't remember my dreams but last night I had one that was kind of weird.
In it Todd Bridges and Gary Coleman were in an office (very bland with an American flag in it, much like an ambassadors office I imagine) and they were giving a speech about Iraq, Iran, Zimbabwe and general evils in the world. It was a Bushesque type speech and he kept saying things like "I know things are tough but I promise it'll get better!" and "Ya gotta trust me on this!" and then slipping into Blair with 'Tough on crime and on teh causes of crime'
Now Different Strokes never really occupied many of my thoughts. Sure, I liked watching it as a kid but I never thought these two would posess strong political thoughts (nor do I care) so why them? The only thing I can think of is that about a month ago I was talking to my friend about the possibility of bringing it back as Gary Coleman was still the same height and could still fit his part, but he pointed out that death and old age for the rest of the crew posed problems.
Onto the next part of my dream.
Gary Coleman was getting very angry and the gathered press core werent going easy on him when suddenly I appeared, now dreaming about yourself is weird but I surpassed that. I yelled Gary Colemans name and told him Todd Bridges was working against him for an undercover terrorist organistaion. Quite strangely Todd pulled down his pants and pissed on me from fully 25 metres then yanked at his hair like he was having a fit, only to reveal the biggest turban in the world and a bomb attached to his wrist, clamped like the last episode in season 3 of 24.
My voice boomed across the room and I ran in slow motion, rugby tackling Gary Coleman to the floor and shooting Todd in the eye magically also disarming the bomb. The rest of the dream is a blur but I know me and Gary spent time in vegas. Bearing in mind im English and have never been to Vegas I find this all very strange..........oh and i have never met anyone from Different Strokes.
So, I'm not sure what that whole thing was about. I never remember dreams, yet I remember about this one.......Why can't it be the one where im getting molested by Tara Reid and Pink on a lilo in the middle of the of Hugh Hefners paradise island.
That's because it's a fantasy not a dream.........
