+1 poem.
+1 pic.
Maths is fun, kiddies. REAL fun.

I hated math as a kid. Who am I kidding...I hated math in college.
Used "The Nature of Math" to check off my math requirement. Take that, Calculus.

I do appreciate it when a horse, or bull, gets the better of someone at a rodeo, though. A little bit of justice in the world doesn't hurt.
Don't get me started on anyone who dies at a bullfight. Easily a red letter day, then.
Oh and I'm positively gleeful when those Pamplona fucks get gored and trampled.

Pure Darwinism, darling. Natural selection at it's shining best.

Horses can be rather terrifying if you think of them turning themselves loose on you, or being around them if they're spooked. You're simply not going to be able to do a thing to stop them. Better just run and hope for the best.

This is true. I have a friend that used to work at a stable and is an avid horse rider. She's been around horses when they freak out. She's been bitten, been hit by a swinging head and had her foot stomped. She said the most terrifying prospect is being trapped in a paddock with a spooked 1000+ pound animal, you don't have a prayer of getting out of there unscathed.

There was an illustration in one of my books as a kid of evil horses devouring a man. I don't remember what book it was, but the picture really disturbed me.
