Luckily there is a "Contact John Kerry" link on his website. So, I emailed him.

Here it is:

Mr. Kerry,

I'm leaving the "Honorable" off your title, because someone who gives so little respect to one of the few groups in our country who actually deserves it: the United States Military, should be paid none himself.

In any event, my name is Matthew, and I am a Navy veteran of six years. I shouldn't mention that, actually, you'll probably reply just to make fun of me for being "duped" into service. God knows nobody actually volunteers for that crap. It's a plain fact that we were all secreted away in the night by evil Republican zombies and forced into slavery in the U.S. Military.

However, I am writing, because your prattling, while usually simply nauseating in the way that all borderline-radical left-wing prattling is, has crossed the line into an entirely different realm. Telling a roomful of students that they should get an education or they'll get "stuck in Iraq?" That's pretty low, even for a Democrat.

I should send along a dry cleaning bill with this e-mail, because your bitter, America-hating statements made me vomit on my nice Banana Republic khaki pants this morning on the ride to work.

The nice thing is that just another little sliver of your wolf's teeth are showing under your costume now. Americans are getting more and more clued in to the real mindset lurking behind that trap of yours, and how obvious it is that you not only despise this country, but the people who would put their lives on the line for it.

Of course, you'll be putting out a statement soon saying how it's not you that should apologize, oh no. George Bush should apologize for this "false war" and blah, blah, blah. Alright, Michael Moore (that's an insult, by the by), we're listening. But remember that we all know the truth.

What a shame it is that you claim to "represent" anyone. Stop claiming to be speaking out for some non-existant majority, please.

Here's wishing you zero luck in any and all of your political pursuits.

/R
One Normal American

http://www.ubersite.com/m/95153#2206096

I've noticed something. Each party has scandals, and each attack the other for THEIR scandal, while also attacking the other for making too big a deal out of their own scandal, and trying to prove that their own scandal is no big deal via the claim that the other thinks their own is no big deal either, despite the fact that this doesn't work because they disagree with them on that point.
"When we had a sex scandal, it was okay to make fun! But now that you have one it isn't! Hypocrites" while "Why is it okay to make fun of OUR scandal but not YOURS?"

THAT MAKES NO SENSE.

Name is familiar, I remember many names though. Hey maybe we stood next to each other during CBS quarters one day, never realized we would one day interlock in a heated debate on some dude's website.

In all honesty though, this letter read as if you were drinking a bottle of jack while wrapped in old glory. No one thinks we're complete dumbasses, because they all know 80% of us join for college money. And I stand by my statement that many, many weeds grow up in between some of us who actually want to contribute. The military is not absent of its shit stains and dirtbags.

I personally joined to see the world. HA! 4 days in port and you get one day duty. I tell you what though, I will never forget that shit. Had some of the craziest shit happen to me while I was there.

I know you're an FC because I read one of your earlier posts where you were telling everyone about your shop, by the way. I used to post on here in '03, sitting right there in ADP.

Dude, I agree with you on every point, except for one: I think John Kerry, Vietnam veteran or not, has a real disdain for the military. You disagree, fine. And I'm not some military blowhard, far from it (FC2 Green, I don't know if you recognize the name), but I think anyone that served is due a little friggin' respect, including you, including me, including the dickweed that actually wiped shit on the wall in the head in our berthing. So, combining those two points, I wrote the letter. That's all.

I was on that bitch from '01-'06. The only reason I got heated by your letter is because John Kerry didn't even attempt to insult the military for obvious reasons (it is complete suicide for ANYONE to do that, because everyone's right to free speech is protected by its men in combat), so it's well and good to make fun of the guy, but that is where it needs to stop. Finger pointing and name calling will accomplish nothing, the guy is a fucking Vietnam veteran for shit's sake.

I serve my country but I get paid damn well for it, even though the Hawk was shit. You know as well as I do how bad that place was, and still is. I'm not anti-proud about being in the military, I know that many people have died at very young ages in this service without even asking for it. That doesn't mean I should walk around thinking I deserve extra special praise for my deeds.

No one really gives a shit anyway, because if they did, they would have taken my place. You think only men and women of integrity join the military? Heh, sure.

Look man, the military is a great place to make something of yourself, but it is also just as great a place to sit around and collect a paycheck. The death (getting killed in combat) issue is a job description, it's part of the package. It doesn't mean you can be all smug about having that kind of threat in your job. Pride is ok when used reasonably and in small doses, otherwise it just turns into smuggness and close-mindedness. I refuse to believe the Navy only accepts greatness through its gates. Here in the REAL WORLD that shit just doesn't happen.

Oh yeah and this guy is an FC, which means he (like ET's) have this "holier than thou" attitude, and generally scoff at IT's as if we are only slightly intelligent computer nerds. This is usually done before their Magic the Gathering parties that they used to have on the 3rd deck of the Fleet Recreation Center.

Oh and fartsmeller, why don't you smell on this little factoid: I was on the Hawk for 4 and 1/2 years and I did PMS ONE TIME. HAHAHAHAHAH FUCKER!!
--------------------------------------------------------

The few times I ate at Mean Gene's after a night at Popeye's, I distinctly remember an even mix of FC's, ET's, and IT's up there on the third FLOOR of the Fleet Rec. Seriously, there weren't many non-dork people from any of the three rates.

And congrats on the PMS. I was TAD to MWR as the workcenter sup. Imagine how much I did there...

Dude, simmer down. I can't believe you were really an IT. And how did you know I was an FC? That creeps me out just a little. But anyway, you kind of went off on a tangent there, but that's okay, you're an angry fella. In any event, what I'm saying is that no matter how gay and shitty the navy was, and it was gay and shitty, you are still a military veteran.

Did you join for the college money? Sure, but you still did it, and when someone insults that, well, it pisses me off. I'm sorry that you are so awesomely nonchalant and cool that you can't be bothered to be annoyed by that, you are just too much of a badass I guess.

And don't think you have me pegged because you read one of my hundred some-odd posts on some glorified blogger's website, homeboy. Your little personality analysis down there makes you sound like a fucking psycho.

Ok Fartsmeller (an appropriate alias for a political kingpin such as yourself), you write this incredible, well thought out "letter" to John Kerry about how the military is one of the "last standing organizations that deserves respect", and then get all pissed whenever I say that being in the military doesn't mean you can demand respect like some glory whore. If you are as noble as you say you are, why don't you fucking get off your high horse and realize that no matter what you say, the military is a collective group and has idiots and criminals just like any other group that accepts members nationwide.

I'd like to wager a nice chunk of cheese that 1% of Americans wake up in the morning in their condos, get into their Escalades and say "Man, you know what? It's time for me to give something back! I'm going to give all this up and out there to the trenches!".

But so many of them can go on and on with this lavish praise that DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. You want a handout on respect? You want to be noble, then shut the fuck up. You remind me of these douchebags that went to a Yellow Card concert in Tokyo in 2003. They were going on and on about how they love Yellow Card but when the band members and groupies wouldn't fellatio them for being out to sea in Iraq for 110 days straight, they got all pissed off and started yelling and screaming, calling the groupies whores and telling the band to go fuck themselves because they never made the sacrifices that they made on the ship. Newsflash: You get paid just like anyone else who does a job. You knew at lest vaguely what being in the military means when you signed up, so please, just do your job, be proud of what you do to a certain limit so you don't become a fucking glory whore. Seriously.

The fact that you took what Kerry said so personally, like he walked up to you and spit on your left nutsack is what makes me certain that you were one of those guys on the USS Kitty Hawk that wrote "Top Ten Boat Hoes" or "Meet me here at 0200 with a seabag for head" on the stall walls in the head (bathroom) with a felt-tip black marker. Added to all of this the fact that you are too much of an easily manipulated knuckle-dragger to be able to tell that this is just some fucking 2nd grade taddling done by people who are looking for anything to help them, because even the most ignorant and idiotic of Americans are wising up to their simplistic "loud and proud, protect the homelands" bullshit.

Oh, and the fact that you want to rip on me for being an IT makes me believe you are definitely one of those sub humans that couldn't even turn their computer on without fucking something up. Who knows, it might have been you that my associates and I caught for putting movies of yourself jacking off into the toilet on the file servers.

Maybe he didn't mean to say it, he probably did just fuck up a joke, but he should have said sorry immediately after he said it.

I think it is stupid to change your vote from dem to rep for it. Almost as stupid as not saying sorry right away.

1989 the number another summer (get down)
Sound of the funky drummer
Music hittin' your heart cause I know you got sould
(Brothers and sisters, hey)
Listen if you're missin' y'all
Swingin' while I'm singin'
Givin' whatcha gettin'
Knowin' what I know
While the Black bands sweatin'
And the rhythm rhymes rollin'
Got to give us what we want
Gotta give us what we need
Our freedom of speech is freedom or death
We got to fight the powers that be
Lemme hear you say
Fight the power

Chorus

As the rhythm designed to bounce
What counts is that the rhymes
Designed to fill your mind
Now that you've realized the prides arrived
We got to pump the stuff to make us tough
from the heart
It's a start, a work of art
To revolutionize make a change nothin's strange
People, people we are the same
No we're not the same
Cause we don't know the game
What we need is awareness, we can't get careless
You say what is this?
My beloved lets get down to business
Mental self defensive fitness
(Yo) bum rush the show
You gotta go for what you know
Make everybody see, in order to fight the powers that be
Lemme hear you say...
Fight the Power

Chorus

Elvis was a hero to most
But he never meant ---- to me you see
Straight up racist that sucker was
Simple and plain
Mother---- him and John Wayne
Cause I'm Black and I'm proud
I'm ready and hyped plus I'm amped
Most of my heroes don't appear on no stamps
Sample a look back you look and find
Nothing but rednecks for 400 years if you check
Don't worry be happy
Was a number one jam
Damn if I say it you can slap me right here
(Get it) lets get this party started right
Right on, c'mon
What we got to say
Power to the people no delay
To make everybody see
In order to fight the powers that be

Hidden, I'm not talking just about this one instance, haven't you heard him on the news more than a few times saying at least snide things about the military? I know I have. And not just about GW, not just about the Iraq War and what not, but about the military.

I'm standing by my opinion of this guy, sorry to tell you.

um... i don't think Kerry dislikes the military and i can't believe you're still falling for this right wing ploy.

Kerry is proud to be a verteran. you can tell because that's the only goddamn thing he talks about and frankly, i don't ever want to hear him speak again because i'm tired of hearing about it. he does not dislike the military and this wasn't a "freudian slip". he just straight up can't tell a joke. if you haven't noticed, he's not exactly Mr. Personality.

sure, Kerry is socially retarded, but he's also smart. do you really think he would be stupid enough to suggest that if you aren't educated your only choice is joining the military?

get real, dude.

just because it was in the news, it doesn't make it true. i'm not going to lie, the first few news reports about it made it sound pretty bad and i was like "did he just say that??? oh no he di'int!" so i did a little more reading and realized how stupid my initial notion was.

It's much better than basing our votes on issues, cause to do that we'd have to read.

I think the important thing is not be fucking facetious, loki. John Kerry is an asshole, and has been for quite some time. His little "misspeak", in my opinion, shows his true sentiment, which is a dislike, in general, for the military.

John, the statistical argument comes from the government, not from me. i was just making people aware of it. they looked at all the drinking related deaths and injuries and said, "hey, there's a lot of them in the age range of 15-20, let's bump up the drinking age. that will eliminate many of those deaths." so Reagan bumped it up to 21 for all 50 states and the number of alcohol-related traffic deaths of those between 15 and 20 dropped by almost half in the decade after the drinking age was changed, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

so there's the statistical reason i mentioned. as for the behavioral studies i mentioned, research suggests the amount of teen drinking dropped by about 13 percent after states raised the drinking age. also, studies show that those who start drinking younger are more likely to become alcohol dependent.

i started drinking when i was 19. i became alcohol dependant and almost died because my liver was failing. i was jaundiced and weak and very sick. i shook uncontrollably and sweat poured out of me. it was horrible. but i stopped drinking and recovered eventually. had i waited to start at the legal age, who knows, things may have been different for me. you can't tell the future or guess what "could have happened", but i do feel that waiting to drink until i was 21 may have prevented that from happening.

"If you're old enough to take a bullet you're old enough to have a brew or a shot of whiskey in my book. I don't give a damn what the statistics say. We don't live our lives by statistics. We're not savings bonds, we're human beings."

that's fine and dandy if that's how you feel about it, but some people's opinions tend to differ, hence the law. you may not know this, but if you are join the military at 18, you can drink on post if the commander allows it, which i have seen happen. personally i think this whole "if you're old enough to die for your country, you're old enough to drink" retoric is silly. the reasons for the legal drinking age and the reasons for the military entrance age in the US are completely unrelated.

----------

They're unrelated, but they follow the same logical question. At what point does a person reach the age where they are an adult and can make their own decisions? We've settled on 18 for all but a few. That is ridiculous. It makes no sense for some of those rights to start 3, 7 and 17 years after all the others do. You're either an adult who can make all their own decisions or you aren't. And if you can make the decision to sign a contract for the next 4 or 6 or 8 or how ever many years of your life to be potentially killed, and even be forced into it if the powers that be deem it necessary, then you're damn well old enough to make the decision to drink alcohol.

And that statistics argument is crap. The purpose of our rights is that even if every last person in the country disagrees with it and it's "bad" for us, it still ought to be allowed. Which is also my argument for legalizing drugs, but this whole thing is already far enough off the topic of the actual post. So what if the people too dumb to be responsible about it die? Our society is robbing natural selection of its God given right to weed out the morons.

The -2 is for the post. Anyone who supports the guy who coined the term "strategery" and then has the nerve to get mad over a misspoken sentence should be flattered by anyone willing to suggest they ever even went to school in the first place, regardless of what they believe he said about their performance there. The same goes for calling those who speak out against a war that's risking countless American lives, yours included, and that was based on lies at worst, lack of accurate intelligence at best, "America-hating". If you had any concept of what America really is you'd be begging for anyone besides the current administration to take over this country.

Start here: http://www.bartleby.com/133/

And here: http://www.ushistory.org/Declaration/

Then go here: http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/constitution.overview.html

When you get to the part where speaking out against the President for trying to destroy everything that actually makes this country worth fighting for equals "America-hating", or the part where it seems like a good idea to ignore the fact that the goverment lied to the people (or, as I said before, at the very least failed in its job to provide accurate intelligence) to start a war on foreign soil without any prompting, let me know.

I pointed out that I was in the Navy so that I could follow it by the comment that made. This was one of those "loud and proud" peices of shit. I'm a Navy veteran of 6 years myself. Being said veteran I have met some fucking retards, whether you like it or not. 1% of the military joins thinking, "I'm going to volunteer to give something back!". I joined for my own personal interests, as most people do. The pride and professionalism is a side effect. Yeah, I'd take a bullet for the country that clothes and feeds me, but its not as noble as it sounds. I don't do it for the people, I do it for the priniciple of what the United States did for ME and my family, to include all of the freedoms I can enjoy (and compared to some of the countries I've been in we have a shitload of freedom in the way we speak and act. That being said, we aren't totally "free". I was drinking in Japanese bars like no tomorrow at 20, when I got to the states they flat our told me to go fuck myself. Its nice to know you have the right to drink in every foreign country and not your own).

I was in Iraq (off the coast, on an aircraft carrier) when the whole war started. Those who deserve TRUE nobility in this military are a dime a dozen. Most people live good lives in the military, I have PLENTY on my table thus far. Once you get out you can land a nice government job, so joining the military is NOT the big stink people make it out to be. Getting killed is a part of the package, its a job description. I take it as such and keep moving, and I don't want any fucking sympathy because I hate you fucking chode suckers anyway.
-----------------------------------
Speak for yourself you fucking douchebag. I knew plenty of fags like you, too fucking cool to be proud of their service. Did we all have a lousy time in the Navy, yeah, probably. ANd did we all bitch about it while we were there? Yes. But that doesn't disqualify us, or ANY fucking American from being pissed at John Kerry for making idiotic, degrading statements.

If you can't agree with that, then kindly go FUCK yourself.

By the way, which carrier were you on? I was on the SHitty Kitty for three years, then the Abe Lincoln for my last year and a half.

No hidden, I don't think that joining the military is a perfect excuse for a beer underage. You join, you sacrifice, TOUGH SHIT. Getting shot at isn't a get out of jail free card. I wrote what I wrote in principle, that I could walk around any other country and drink totally legal. It just seems rather ass backwards to me, that I can play the foreign land card and get a drink, while two days later I am refused in the states.

Oh and if you think giving out drinks to some of these 18 year olds in the military is cool, think again. My former ship was center stage for rapes and murders amoung underage drinkers. For the sake of sake itself, I used to clean up grown men's shitty drawers out of the bathroom (known as head to me and my shipmates). I even found a towel on the shower floor curled up, hiding a turd inside. Getting shot at is NO excuse for this fucking shit. (literally)

Hidden you should know above all how much I hate(d) the military. My position was dark and desolate, my friend.

And speaking of car insurance...mandatory car insurance is a scam. Always has been, always weill be. It is the PERFECT example of a corporation or group of corporations pooling their money to lobby congress for a bullshit bill that the masses have no use in. In driving, as in all things, there is a certain amount of risk. And the amount of risk we are each willing to accept will vary. Someone who buys a Mercedes should have to accept the added responsibility of driving an automobile worth more than some people I know's house. The same holds true for those like me who choose to drive pieces of shit automobiles until they completely die because, for us, a vehicle is merely a means to an end and should not be a bank-breaking, debt-generating venture.

My automobile now has a blue book value of about $2000. I have payed probably 5 times that amount in car insurance over the years to keep the bastard on the road. It is not worth it to me to have car insurance. It should be the responsibility of the asshole driving the Ft. Knox on wheels to insure himself if he wants to protect his extravagant investment. I should not be punished for attempting to stay out of debt and be responsible with my money by driving a sensible automobile.

Then one day a crazy bitch ran over him in her car, as he left the house of one of the clients he still personally visited at the age of 79. She backed up over him and did it again. We still don't know why.

I'm not kidding.

So thanks a lot, asshole. I'm so glad your broad, stereotypical view of people has made you the top dog again.

sure, people get hammered on their 21st birthday. what's your point?

John Kerry said he left out one word in his speech. he said "you'll end up getting stuck in Iraq" instead of "you'll end up getting US stuck in Iraq" which was supposed to be followed by "like President Bush!"

ZING!

what a personality!

it's obvious Kerry wasn't trying to insult anyone but Bush. he just sucks at having a personality. it's a Republican ploy to make Democrats look bad and to take voters' minds off of how bad of a job they are doing at pretty much everything right before elections. it makes me sick and it makes me sad that so many people fall for it, but it's true.

Those aren't the same thing at all, unless of course you're drawing the parallel that 18 - 21 year olds might drink less responsibly and cause more harm to others. The thing is, the age is 18 or lower in almost every other western country and I've never been told of a difference.

Sir, you ARE my hero. Bravo on this comment. Now THIS I can respect! Truth with no punches pulled...no bullshit.

PS: I wrote a song a long time ago with a line in it about it being bullshit that you can die for your country at 18 but have to wait to start killing yourself with alcohol at 21. Because THAT makes perfect sense.

Jesus, are people really this stupid? It's like a cliche character from a bad comic strip. I'm not even gonna discuss the hygeine I picture this character having. Good thing "its" comments were limited to just 2 sentences...anything more than that and "it" might have had to break out the Scholastic Pocket Dictionary.

A last ditch desperate ploy to conjure up a few votes ahead of elections.

If you want to talk about someone having no respect for the armed services, let's talk about our sitting president/dictator for a second... He took us to war based on fabricated and misrepresented evidence and 2800 servicemen have died as a result, not to mention the estimated 650,000 Iraqi civilians who have lost their lives. How exactly is THAT respecting our servicemen? The motherfucker is a draft dodger who used his daddy's connections to stay out of Vietnam combat and you have the nerve and the stupidity to try to say KERRY is the one without respect?

Seriously, put the crack pipe down and join reality.

I don't like Kerry. Based on his Skull and Bones membership and his spineless rhetoric in the last elections, I think he is a fake and a tool of the elite, but your criticisms here do nothing but reflect your own misunderstanding of the real issue at hand...

What the hell are we going to do about the ballooning $9 trillion national debt?

When are people going to be indicted or impeached from office for their participation or, at minimum, laxity with regard to the suspicious events of 9/11?

When are people going to get their just deserts who lied to us about the intelligence linking Saddam to WMD and the fake, neocon creation, Al Qaeda?

Ask some REAL questions... Point your accusatory fingers at some REAL villains...not some two-bit poser named John Kerry.

This whole topic is ridiculous because it's obvious that Kerry wasn't insulting the military.

1. He was in the military.
2. He has other people that write or at least edit his speech material and nobody on earth would recommend that he insult the American military troops.
3. He's not actually an idiot. He's dull, uninteresting, stuck up, liberal, rich, and ugly, but he's a pretty smart guy.

The idea was to make a joke saying that if you're uneducated, you'll get the military stuck in Iraq. See, it's funny because that what George W. Bush did. The point was to make fun of George W. Bush, not the military itself. It's a stupid joke that he screwed up.

However, let's not forget the most important thing...

IGNORE THE TRUTH BECAUSE IT'S THE WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION AND JOHN KERRY BUMBLED HIS WORDS IN PUBLIC! HE HATES THE MILITARY AND SUPPORTS TERRORISTS AND SATAN!!

NEWS FLASH: Barrack Obama was just witnessed selling crack at an elementary school and shooting a bus full of elderly nuns. Is it true? Who cares, the election is next week! Get it in the headlines and apologize next Wednesday!

As far as that homophobic dolt that thinks that being in the Navy is the equivalent of being gay, you are sadly mistaken. Homosexuals are hardly an issue, and most ships are co-ed. Many people assume that the Navy doesn't do shit also, but they fail to understand it's just a different kind of shit. And the Navy always deploys, peace or war. I don't really want to defend the organization all that much but that retarded "huh huh... Navy is faggots they be together all the time dancing on a ship" bullshit is just completely homophobic, trite, unthoughtful, and uninspired. What's the difference between that and being out in the field with a bunch of dudes? Same shit.

democrats don't whine. unfortunately more often than not they don't say anything. republicans have balls, democrats have brains. we need to disband the parties for a little while and try more independent candidates.

I mean, heaps of people share your views, and a lot of them are far more objectionable in my opinion, but there's something even about that last comment, something about the wording, or perceived intonation, that just makes me squint and go "Dude you're a fucking idiot" even though you're clearly not.

Because thorpe, here on uber everyone loves a good joke, and that's what I normally do, jokes. So, everyone thinks, hey, that guy is pretty funny, nice, etc. But on the rare occasion that I stoop (and I say STOOP) into discussing politics on this site, people like you get all shocked to discover that my views are fairly conservative, which on this site is not the majority, unlike in the real world.

So, instead of just disagreeing with me, people have to jump right into name-calling, or in your case: petty little bullshit comments about how you feel a "pitiful loathing" for me because, I'm guessing, they are so horrified by the fact that someone who they thought was a nice, normal, pretty funny guy might have a differing opinion when it comes to politics that it blows their little Bush-hating world apart.

Not sure if you heard, but John Kerry lost the 2004 presidential election.

It would be nice if there was a political party whose soul campaign platform was to not fuck you out of every last possible penny. I personally want the federal government to do nothing other than prevent an invasion by China.

Terrorism is of no concern to me. Obviously I wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of a terrorist attack, but I'd much rather have the possibility of that than to have the incompetent and corrupt federal government trying to "help keep me safe" by invading unrelated countries and spying on my phone calls and email.
---------------------------

NOT SURE IF YOU HEARD HAHAHAHA. You is a witty one! Yes, I did hear. Not sure if you heard that he made dispariaging comments about the American military yesterday. You know, the fucking TOPIC of my post.

Or did you not even read it? Since it had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with Kerry being an asshole and here you go, like so many others, just talking about random shit that pops into your brain when you think you smell a discussion on politics.

I understand how you see these theories as "Bogus" on their own. The point is you have tie all of them together, and look at the bigger picture.
With the passing of the MIlitary Commissions Act, suspected "terrorists" (and the key word being "suspected" - no proof/evidence needs be disclosed to validate same), rights to access a defence lawyer, or hearing before a court has been revoked.
That's a pretty big dent in the whole idea of "liberty", and they play it down by the terminology - "terrorist". What is oft forgotten is that the scope of the legislation incorporates ANYONE who is suspected, REGARDLESS of your citizenship. This is starting to sound more like "Guilty until proven innocent", as opposed to vice versa. It's a recipe for disaster in my mind. Without the involvement of the judicial system, it allows for personal vendettas/paranoias to become the grounds for detention, and to remain unchecked in this regard.

Here's two links - the first being a list of the FEMA Camps already constructed, and the other two commentaries on recent changes in legislation from "alternative" media websites. I have tons of references. If your interested I'll share them.

http://www.sianews.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1062

http://www.alternet.org/rights/32647/

http://sf.indymedia.org/news/2006/10/1732834.php

and take a look at this document - http://www.army.mil/usapa/epubs/pdf/r210_35.pdf

I mean, you have to take it with a grain of salt. But it's pretty hard to deny cold, hard legislation. Not to menttion the bigger picture these little points are painting....
---------------------------------

Grain of salt? There is barely a grain of truth in the first srticle. 800 fully staffed prison camps in the US that are sitting empty?!?! Come on, if this was anywhere near the truth don't you think it would be making real news, I mena do you know how much that would cost? Even if you think US media is completely corrupt and wouldn't cover it don't you think mainstream media from other countries would cover it?

Try and read through that list. Somebody complied a list of national guard bases and closed bases and said they are all concentration camps.

I suggest you re-read the military comissions act, the law applies to aliens with no immigration status (who for centuries have had no right to habeus corpus in war time). Not to US citizens in the US.
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YWNlMjg3YWRlNmNjMTk0NDc1NzE0ZWI2YzBlOGRlNzU=

If Bush has all these camps ready, and he has all these powers with a stroke of a pen, what is he waiting for? Democrats are ahead, why not act now?

If the democrats lose is your story going to go to he rigged the election?

The sad fact is that the republicans still probably have a good shot at winning. They are running mostly on a platform of republicans suck. And it doesn't work.

***GENERAL NOTE***

For all you military types... how many of you folks have served with assholes who got into the service on a dare or because they were too fucking stupid or hopeless to do anything else?

Hmmm?
---------------------------

Ah ha. Revealed for the fucking idiot you are. Truth be told, most-and I mean 99.7%-of the people I served with were the exact opposite of what you're describing. Good, honest, smart folks doing the best they could to make a living and serve with some shred of dignity and honor. You see, turd, as with any job, club, society, or group, there are some assholes. Like you. Uber is primarily thoughtful-slash-humorous individuals come together to share jokes and stories. But then someone like you comes along and the whole kitchen is judged by one lousy fucking cook. The military is much the same. Mostly good folks with the odd rob berg thrown in to stink up the joint.

---

>Sigh<

See?

I asked if there were folks like that with whom you served with... and you barf out that block of idiocy when a simple "yes, there are some of those people that I have served with in the military."

You enjoy getting yer panties all twisted up don't you?

See this isn't a dick measuring competition, I know I am smarter than you - I am not trying to prove anything.

I happen to have a tremendous respect for the military... if you were not in such a rush to illustrate how repulsively stupid you are, you
