I'm hungry.
Haven't eaten in over 24 hours.
I've drank though, the beer can littered desk is a good testament to that.
Why do I take everything as such a pacifist?
Last night you called me from your newly exed girlfriends phone and were suicidally dramatic. I called in to work today, which quite possibly lost me my job, just to be here for you. Yet I call now and you're staying another night.
I asked if you'd got back together with her and you said no. I told you that I really wanted you here. I really needed you here.
You were silent, and I just let you go.
She runs you like a train. Screaming out orders in every direction. Is that what I need to do to bring you home?
It bothers me that I'm not in love with you. I want to be enough to take away so much of your pain. A week after we first slept together I had "I love you" run thru my brain. But I knew I just loved the attention, the affection, the way you made me feel. So I've kept it inside. I don't know what clicks things over but I thought I knew the difference between loving a hundred things about you and actually being in love with you.
Now I wonder if I am in love with you, because you're breaking my heart. Jealousy and possession are the two main things I can see misdirecting me, but I'm sure there are others. I've always been a sick fuck who believes that you can only feel joy and happiness to the degree that you've felt pain. And now I'm basing my feelings for you off of how much you've hurt me.
I never asked if you cared about me. But you told me you did anyway. When it's good for you, you treat me like your princess. Sometimes your eyes show a warmth and appreciation that makes me feel like I've found my purpose in this world.
I'm not in love with you yet. But I think I could be.
I wish you were here.

The "as" is what makes it confusing. What it sounds like is you're saying that everything is a pacifist, and not you. The "as" inadvertantly reverses the main and secondary subjects. In your version, it sounded like "everybody" was the main subject and "I" was secondary.
Funny what a two letter word can do.

maiorano84 - You fucking owned me there. And that's ok. I know this was a pathetic bleating whore of a post. I suppose I should have used the word submissive instead of pacifist. But because of my own skewed world view, I find those words entirely interchangeable.
I've still haven't had anyone explain why it was grammatically incorrect.

Of all the emo crap I spewed, this was your problem? I'm sorry you had to look "pacifist" up on dictionary.com and thought it was only related to war, but in reality we use this word in the context of psychology, sexuality, and interpersonal relationships.
You need to get laid. Or at least listen to your therapist.
