I know all you little tree-huggers have a hard-on about Apple and Macs, but I doubt you can really explain why, other than 'Bill Gates suxxxx'.
Yes your Mac screens look prettier, but they're less functional.
Yes your cases look sleeker, but you only have a handful of options, as opposed to the hundreds of options for PCs.
Yes your platforms are more stable. Yea, but you have little choice in video cards, sound cards, motherboards, etc...
Yes your "I'm a mac, I'm a pc" commercials are seemingly funny. Unfortunately, they're completely inaccurate and I can make movies that look just as good on my pc than on my roommate's mac, except I do it cheaper and faster than her.
It really is all bullshit and propaganda.
For every Video application made for Apple, I can name 5 that are PC-compatible.
For every Audio application made for Apple, I can name 10 that are PC-compatible.
For every dollar I could spend on an iMac product, I can spend half that on PC products and get a better choice/variety to fit my personal need.
And it took Steve Jobs HOW many years to finally introduce a mouse that had more than one button?

macs are like beta, and the sony minidisk, and the panasonic 3-D-O video system.
the ipod is keeping them afloat...for now, but eventually, they will go the way of sega, and jsut make the software for the competition, and not be making computers.
if they are smart, they should do that before completely bankrupting.
besides, i can use any mac program through an emulator..... thus making it 100% useless

No - there are clearly optimum amounts of keys and buttons. But most applications should only require two buttons. Sure a flight sim would be best with a joystick etc. But there is no reason why most apps are 2 buttoned

+2 for the reactions of the Mac users alone. If they think 2-button mouses are only used because of crappy programming, I suppose they could live with 13 letter keys, too. control + A = B &c. Less is more, right? In fact, let's entirely remove the keyboard, you can make scrolldown menus for every letter and F-button anyway. Fuck speed, at least you'll have a sleekly designed 'workspace'

Once Microsoft released Windows XP the last reason to buy a Mac for all but a few specialists ended.
PCs were always cheaper, more flexible, more customizable, more cross compatible, and with far more software.
Now that the operating system is fairly reliable as well, there is no good reason to buy a Mac for mainstream users any more.
