These were done in Max and Maya, none of them are totally finished. I can't take credit for the stage lights in the last picture, one of my classmates modeled them.

That's awesome. I used Max in high school and won a state-wide animation contest in it, but it was just because I did a good job with the camera angles. Also, the other animations were really terrible.
I just don't have the patience for modeling, so whenever I sit down in front of my ancient copy of lightwave (1999 version, whatever that was), I get frustrated and quit.
Also, you'd probably like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdUUx5FdySs) which I found on digg. It's apparently some person's master's thesis.
