Yes, I assert that congress isn't going to accomplish anything. While the Republicans are a unified group of horny rich old men who all sit around with their thumbs up their butts and agree with what the horniest, richest, and oldest of them say, the Democrats have a wide range of opinions in their disagreements with the Republicans. Essentially Democrats are just Anti-Republicans.
Not all of them want gun-control, not all of them want abortions, and not all of them lay around with the Mexicans collecting welfare checks and smoking reefer. Because of this, when anything is brought to congress there will be Democrats who made campaign promises to their dear state of Montana (or whichever state) about how they would fight against abortion, and so nothing will be accomplished.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not trying to side politically this is just a prediction, I don't hate you in particular I hate everyone.

I did a post a few days ago about lobby reforms that pelosi was backing, I actually got a little pumped, then I saw she is backing Murtha. He is a huge sack of crooked shit who has done anything in his power to slow down reform.
