hahah
Also, Redskies is the winner for remembering "Noy se tut!"
Y'know, <inner dork> The Pirates of Dark Water storyline was never actually completed. I believe only 7 of of the 13 "lost treasures of rule" were ever actually addressed in the show. I would LOVE to revive and work on the rest of that series.</inner dork>

I'm betting you're within two years of my age and were probably primed to be a mega-dork until you discovered drugs and developed a social life.
--
I suspect sports, drugs, girls, and driving fast saved me from an otherwise tragic life, yes. I'd suggest that I recognized my l33tski1z at a VERY young age, was pretty uncomfortable about it, and knew enough not to hide it by attaching myself to just one non-dorky image. My inner-chameleon developed to protect me from some of my own intellectually dorky tendencies.
I might have had the right "prime," but I surrounded myself with a unique group of badasses, class clowns, hot bitches, cynical intellectuals, sex kittens, surfers, skaters, rockers, stoners, racers, and some select athletes. I had to do this while still being in the top 3% academically and not having it held against me.
It paid off, though. I went to a better college than most of the "geeks" and have a better social life than most of the "cool kids." I can tie my own bowtie for a black-tie wine&cheese tasting, but I can also drink a Colt45 with some fried chicken in the hood and not really seem out of place in either situation.

Samurai Jack! It's priceless, a Scottish man with a machine gun for a leg. Children's TV is so unimaginative these days

Since posting this, I've watched the whole first season of the Swat Kats, the first 7 episodes of Bucky O'Hare, the first 5 episodes of Pirates of Dark Water, and a random 2nd season episode of Gargoyles.
Thank all that's divine for youtube.

I'm embarassed that I don't have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on there. That would be one of the few that I've seen EVERY episode of.

Cartoons have taught me more than any all my teachers, parents and drug dealers combined.
+2 for Garfield and friends. I LOVE that show.
