Around this time of year I usually start getting homesick. I start searching with google image to find photos that remind me of home, in the Sierra Nevadas here in California. I spent much of my youth growing up in about a hundred mile stretch from one side of the mountains to the other, from the low foothills on the west to the high desert on the east side.

The oak trees and such up top are in the areas of the foothills near Knight's Ferry and Telegraph City, for those who live in northern Ca.

PS - In your photodickery application, set the photo or collage NO GREATER than 800 pixels wide or Uber automatically drops it down like that.
I actually try to do a standard 750 w these days.

bottom right corner is indeed in Yosemite NP. Tenaya lake is well up the road from the valley though.
The bottom left is Monitor pass, at about 9000ft. Highway 4 goes over and meets Rt 89 to go downhill and north to Lake Tahoe.
