Someone posted this on another forum I peruse, and I spent a solid couple hours goofing off with it at work today. Its a series of riddles, 110 of them in total, which comprise a large game. If you catch the hints and are good at these you'll fly through them, but if you're like me you'll have a headache after an hour and be stuck at level 14.
Give it a try. Let me know how you do. Only 0.04% of 60'000 people that started this riddle could solve it and make it to the end. If anyone makes it to the end and takes a screen shot I'll +2 every post they've ever written. Hell, if anyone makes it to level 50 I'll +2 twenty of their posts. They're that difficult.
Try not to be dicks and ruin each level for those who havent done it, unless someone asks of course.

These are too singular to be riddles.
It takes a mind similar to the creator's to figure it out.
That's why "harder" just means "more cryptic of hints".
Not to mention if they throw things in there that are completely irrelevant. I understand that this is to throw you off, but the point of a riddle is that anyone could "get it" if they simply used the clues provided. But this person provides misleading clues.
It's like Myst. Who has the time to sit there and figure out what the creator was thinking, try out the different possibilities of what they could've been thinking, only to finally solve it and be like, "I don't even know how I got there"?
Feeling like you "got lucky" is frustrating and unrewarding when you're trying to solve a problem.
(There's also some flash games out there that are similar: Crimson Room, Viridian Room, etc.)

Ty opening the .jpg file with "Binary" as the type selected in the dropdown box and look right at the embedded code.
It's certainly better than trying to install a crappy paint program you'll never use again.

I tried the source, and looked at the title, so I tried the properties in Internet Explorer. Nothing helpfull. So I tried in Microsoft Picture Manager. A much bigger list of nothing helpfull.
So typed in '\properties.htm' in the search bar, and got a list of applications you can use to get the properties of the picture, none of which I have, one of which is GIMP.
So I downloaded GIMP, then spent twenty minutes persuading it to run on the Windows environment and guess what?
No where on the GIMP menus can I find an option that will display any more properties than I can find on Microsoft Picture Manager.....
ahahahaahahaahaahaahaaaha.
I'm so glad I'm getting paid while I'm doing this.

Well everybody is at least at 4 and everybody is asking for it. Over one of the O's it says "solitude" but it's barely visible and I gave myself such a headache trying to make it out. I didn't have photoshop at work. Now I'm stuck on 5. The code hints say something about manipulating the image but I can't see anything no matter what I do to the image...

hint for 4: stop zooming! it says to manipulate it. there are other ways to manipulate a photo besides zooming, like color conversion, brightness, hue, lightness, resizing, etc.
i gave up on 10. i have to drive down to St. Louis. rush hour traffic in Chicago... *sigh*.

Does anyone tell me what's up with level 4? I know it's a very low level to be stuck on but when I zoom in on the obvious anomaly I just get a black and white blur.....there's nothing zooming in I can't see with my eyes....it just gets bigger...and blurry.....I've already tried blurry....
