March Air Museum. Located in desolate, run down and gang-filled Riverside, California.
Or as I like to call it...Home.

I wouldn't mind taking one of those SR-71 Blackbirds out for a spin.
Of course, indoninja would have to scrape me out of the cockpit afterwards from the force of the mach speed.

Purdy Pictures.
The conspiracy theorists believe that there is already a production passenger jet that can cross the Atlantic in under 2 hours. (I read this somewhere and will attempt to find the link shortly). They apparently don't want to use it because it will kill their profits.
Why?
Ever see the prices for a trip on Concorde?
This comment was random, but the thought is heartfelt.

Cool stuff. A plane you'll never see in a boneyard? The Avro Arrow. Damn you Diefenbaker :(
--
Many years ago me and a buddy (guess who...) submitted a storyline for a TV movie about the AVRO Arrow to CTV. They turned it down. Years later the CBC made a flick about that touchy subject.

Hey, I enjoyed this. I grew up on airbases, but I never saw any nice shit like this.
I will be thinking about the Blackbird's 1:54 London run all day thanks to you. That is amazing.

The F-15 Eagle has never been destroyed in combat, in any engagement worldwide.
-------------------------
That's cause all the pilots of the opposing aircraft couldn't look at it without poking their own eyes out.

I think I drove by this place or some AF thing in Riverside on the way back from Mexico like a week ago. They were flying something that looked like the dildo with wings in circles over by the mountains. Seemed like a waste of time and fuel but whatever.

That museum at March is okay, but if you want to see a kick-ass boneyard, check out Davis-Monthan in Tucson.
