Having not posted in some time I thougt "what the hell?" Pictured below are the two most recent glass mosaics I've done. the first is a picture frame for a 5x7 photo that stands about 12" x 12". The second is a 16" x 20" framed piece. As much as I'm happy with the end products the pictures don't really do them justice, I just haven't figured out a great way to photograph them to capture all of the color and detail without introducing a lot of reflection.

I HAVE Battleship, my son loves it and it is indeed a great game. those two dots are just where the frame stand connects to the picture backing though.

I liked the first one. Hope. With the two dots it reminded me of Battleship (remember that fucken game?) and that totally romped ass.

You need to photograph them outside under overcast skies or diffuse the indoor lighting.

Those are cool.

Barry, these are really beautiful. I'm very much impressed.

I'd give you a better rating, but our overlord only allows me this lowly +2.

I really wanted a script type font for that first one but working with little pieces of broken glass on a piece that size limited how elaborate I could get without it taking forever. As it is I think I probably have a good 7 hours into that one.

I don't care for the the font (?) in number one.

Totally dig number two.

I am lucky enough to of been able to work with Brdn_Nkd amongst the other greats on a post that I can genuinely say created a turning point in my career. He was the closest thing to my father and grandfather that I really do believe I've had in several years... He left us with a legend that all of us have the ability to do. Make a searching and fearless moral inventory of yourselves' everytime there's a triumph in the world a million souls hafta be trampled on. - Brdn_Nkd, its true. But treasure each triumph as they come. Be adequite. Beaux Jizzle."

I don't really like the "Hope" one (Just a personal think though) The bottom one is very nice though.

Wish I was able to be so creative in a lunch break, I just write pointless stuff instead.

I want to see them. I like glass mosaics. It reminds me of the beauty of stained glass, without having to go to church. Pretty.

Ok, not really. I really like the second one. I like the curves and straight lines surrounded by the scattered, jagged frame of the other pieces.

Seriously nobody wants to see the arts and craft project you did in class between recess and nap time.
