I was speaking to a friend of mine today, and we were talking about another friend of ours who just seems to be stuck in her tracks. She's quite literally been the same for the last maybe 7 or 8 years. Life has thrown some incredible things her way, and they just seem to bounce off her. She doesn't learn anything from those experiences, nor does she grow from any of them.
For her, change is the ultimate betrayal of who you are.
I seem to disagree with this because I've seen how much I've changed over the last few years and how glad I am for those changes. I was reading the posts I had posted up on here 3 years ago and I kinda laughed at myself then and thanked god that I had moved on from those phases and for what I had learend.
I'm not sure why I'm back to posting on uber, putting my thoughts out there for the criticisms of people I don't know for no purpose except perhaps to maintain a record of my progression of thought. So far, it's spanned since I was 16 and first joined up here. There was a huge break of about 18 months there. Having re read my posts, I kinda feel like maybe now what I have to say is of more worth.. and perhaps not so juvenile. But like I said.. that's up to you for despite.
So here's to Ubersite! And my return..! At least temporarily :)
