Wonderful news, Gelflings. I just found out that I have been promoted to a job that offers a couple of things that my previous job has been lacking; "Challenges" and "Responsibility".
Now I know a number of you are frantically surfing your way to http://www.Dictionary.com to try and find out what these two words mean and I'd hate to impede the slow progress you are probably making in that journey of discovery but I'd like to discuss a few things.
The first is the fact that, after the 5th of February, I will no longer be doing this shitty dogwatch shift which means I'll spend approximately 70% less time on Uber. Luckily for me, I bought a significant amount of shares in Kleenex before I made that announcement so I imagine I'll be hearing more good news from my stock broker tomorrow.
The second thing is that I will actually have to do some work for a living which means that the 30% I will spend gracing you urchins with my presence will be filled with frustration and hostility, the likes of which you've never experienced before.
The third thing is that I don't actually know how to describe my new role to you, what exactly it is that I'll be doing or how many birds I'm going to have to bang to make my way further up the corporate ramp, so I don't even know why I bothered posting this pile of horseshit.
Merry Christmas to everyone and a safe and prosperous New Year.
2007 is going to be a big one and there is no group of people I'd like to share it with more.
