One day the world will read one hundred words
And reading, come to find the soul of Man
United as drawn, each, the mortal thirds
Divining by the work of human hands;
With alchemy the masters, passed, did spell
Their leaden labor, testing mettle's might,
Too golden or too straw the letters fell
From dying ink to fading sheets of white.
And in the days beyond the setting sun,
When one to one we take to promised rest
The still-writ rhyme will find itself undone
With one false beat or word to turn its quest.
The heart still seeks perfection from the line,
The words will come, but they will not be mine.

I often wonder
if being the poet laureate
of uber is enough for you.

I hate reading your poetry. It makes me green with envy and the related nausea.
I know you wrote that in thirty minutes. Move to Canada and you could be our poet laureate.
Oh yeah, and btw:

I dunno... I'm just kinda for the frontiers of music. And the mating of soul and machine brings stories to the surface of my skin.

There's an empty spot I've always had inside me. I tried to fill it with
family, religion, community service. But those were all dead ends. I
think this chair is the answer.
