The Holidays are almost over and that can only mean two things!
1 - You are 10 pounds heavier.
2 - UM IV is back!
That's right, it's time to finish this thing.
We're down to the nitty gritty my friends. We've managed to drag this competition, kickin and screamin, straight into the new year and what better way to bring in 2007 than with an ole fashioned literary tea bagging.
Round 7 titles will be up Noon January 2.
Deadline for stories is Noon January 9.
Voting Ends Noon January 12.

So....you give the worse guy a buy....making it so that if Jack beats beef there'll be three people in the semi-finals...rather than giving it to Jack...so there'd be the far more traditional 4 semi-finalists?
I know you said earlier about people moaning last time Jack got a by...but use your initiative man...you are one hell of a writer....and there's no offense intended when I say you should not be allowed to run this thing next year....

Why doesn't Jack get the bye? I've not been following but wouldn't make more sense that hte one who hasn't lost a match get a bye over the one who has lost a match, even though they have a higher percentage? This style confuses the hell out of me
