i think if you skip ahead to the 1:10 mark, the quality of the performance greatly improves. If only I had editted out those "petals."

Most of you guys are too young to remember this, but Jimmy Stewart used to show up semi-regularly on Carson's show, and read his own poetry.
It was never particularly great poetry, but I think that the fact was recited by Jimmy Stewart kinda made it interesting.
