That you should seek to turn away from me
And, turning, keep me in your mind and on
Your lips is not a sin; as dusk from dawn
By time is justly parted, so are we
Divided by the shroud, the nail, the tree.
I ask today
That you should break your heart and turn away
From transitory flesh and memory,
For every bond of love will come undone
Frayed and split by illness, age and arms,
But though the past will tempt you with its charms
Permit your wounded heart to trust in none.
In time my face in all things you will see;
Your work is great, and captured time is short.

What are the holidays without returned items?
You should debut it here when it arrives. Maybe I'll do another zombie piece, in celebration.

Did you ever order yourself that t-shirt?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, but when I got it, it fit horribly, so I am getting a different cut. I haven't decided what to do with the other one. Hmmm. Anyone want my shirt?

OBLIGATORY +2 FOR MY SEX BUNNY.
No, not you, I have a "rabbit" here and it likes your post. Either that or the batteries are on the fritz.
....
No, working just fine.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for spectacle.
And over the years it's developed into a good excuse for men to meet together on a weekly basis. There's no 'off season' to speak of, so it's always on.

Fucked if I know....

I commented on this somewhere else today...I think Ben Franklin was claiming he'd already bedded the mother, and would soon have his eye set on the daughter. Likely a threat directed at a rival. Probably owed him money. Or some blow. Or money for blow. All those bitches were little coke monkeys back then. Franklin was deadly in a knife fight. Had a record of 114-0-1 at the time of his death. Don't fuck with Franklin. He'll wreck your shit.

What's the translation of the painting title?
---
Depends on how you want to take it:
It can be "do not touch me," which ultimately helped Dan Brown sell more books. Something about Hebrew tradition and husbands not being allowed to touch their wives when they're pregnant. Couple that with the painting involving JC and Mags and you've got yourself An Artistic Conspiracy Theory.
It can also be "do not cling to me," which suggests a message more in line with the gospels - Jesus asking Magdalene (and the Apostles, later) to look to the future of the faith and not hold onto him after the Resurrection.

Wow.
I would have thought he was just asking for a blowjob.
---
You could always interpret the painting as JC suggesting they hop in the tree to do it.
