This post was bland.
The only reason people are +2ing it is because we all feel sorry for you, over the attendance you're getting this year.
No Condy, No Tony, in fact nobody at all from the upper-echelons of the world's major powers.
But that's O.K.
That guy from YouTube is there!
(translation: dude, your get-together is so fucked, it's yesterday...)

Yeah, 2 inches of snow isn't something to be excited about. At all.

I nearly cried when I saw the snow Wednesday morning. I had to walk to work doing the 'twat walk' - the stiff legged shuffle that reduces the risk of falling on your arse - because they don't grit pavements (or roads, actually) around my way.
Yes, an arm flailing, lamp post grabbing time was had by all.
It was very pretty though. I should have taken some photos myself.

That last photo is awesome. Bare trees in winter can look so spooky.

You brought snow to a girl who's never seen snow {except on long-ago vacations- I live WAY south in US} and even then it's been so long I can't remember how it really feels, snow. I like the three lonely trees, they are special. I think they are sad, but you coming to them made them feel better.

That's just a dusting!
When I was a kid, it came up to my chest. I had to walk to school in it...uphill both ways! One time walking home from school, I had to kill a grizzly bear with my looseleaf binder.

And if that's the case, I'll truly enjoy doing one of those and regret the other two.
It's up to you to figure out which one it'll be.
Lover.

I still have 2-3 foot mounds in my yard. Most areas are down to a foot or so, but the stuff that is shoveled got piled high and it will be quite some time before it all melts.

We have gone 5 weeks in a row with snow and are supposed to get more this weekend. It may just be flurries or a light dusting.

It's snowing near Philly now. Unfortunately, it's only supposed to be enough to make the evening commute hell, but not enough to be all pretty.

That is one of the things I love about London. You never have to go far from the urban sprawl to find a nice little place where you can forget you are in the city.
