I recently came upon this post by guilelessone (user 30001, by the way). I +2ed both of his posts as I would do with any new user (don't post twice in one day, dude), because he has potential, like everyone and I want him to stay.
This, however, does not keep his post from being anything but anal bullshit.
He does have a point though, that she IS violating the law of consent. But if she herself persued him, is has to be consented, right?
14-year-old girls are not stupid. They will screw you over, eat your soul, and shit all over your heart, as I learned in my high school years. They are calculating and intelligent (well, most of the time) and they know damn well what they're doing. That being said, I believe that, as sick and morally repugnant as it may be, she has every right to be in a relationship with that man. It's what she wants.
And what's all this shit I hear about how "the law was designed to protect the innocent"?
The law has failed many times.
