ps, I play with chump change. Most of my money goes to my family...and important things like beer and cigarettes.
My post was largely true, though. I thought I had bought Nissan.
___________
Wait, wait so you bought nissin thinking you were buying nissan? thats funny man.
I'll post both charts up...
And don't worry - everyone starts on chump change and if you invest chump change regularly it grows.

I think it's August 10 to November 10. I actually still have the stocks. It's Nissin. Not the noodle makers. Hovering just above $5/share, I think. I don't really pay very close attention. Obviously.

Im interested in hearing the part where the IRS calls you bc you are dealing in cash transactions of over 10k at a time.
__________
Does not apply, as far as I know anyway. I think thatrule is for depositing funds into a bank account, with most broker they have an alliance with a bank and you can go to thier bank or yours and do a direct or telegraphic transfer directly to them. I suppose I am still depositing large sums but to the bank I am simply paying off a large bill, the same as if I was paying a phone bill.
To start your account you just send a cheque and they open a money market account for you with better than average interest.
---------------------------
If you put 10k into the bank to pay your phone bill persay, its still a problem. The Fed wants to know where that came from, and trust me eventually they ask... this I know. nudge nudge nose scratch nudge nudge
_________
At this stage, I only ever deposited funds directly into the brokers account, I'm sure they handle large transactions all the time (for that specific account) and I personally was never questioned but I do have a friend who works at a bank and they say they fill out 'suspect transaction' forms all the time without the customer acknowldging it...
Either way I have a serious run in with the IRS in a few more posts which will make up for the no IRS action here.

Minimally interesting and I fail to see where I'm supposed to care. That's all. I'm sure you are going to make a big fuss (cry like a bitch because ratings are everything to you) and complain or lob some "great" insult at me but I'll be honest....I went back and actually read the original and this whole one too. I guess what I'm saying is that I could give a shit less about how you got fucked in the ass, your boyfriend or trading, either way, I don't care.

Great series.
I would be curious to know which 10 books you condensed in part 1.
________-
I'll do a seperate post on that because there is so much shit out there its not funny, also depends on your level of expertise and your risk profile, some people here would be happy only investing in mutual funds others would like to lose their parents 401k in futures trading...
