Teens Accused of Plot to Kill Enemies

OAKLYN, N.J. - An alleged plot by three teenagers to kill their enemies and then target other victims at random unraveled when they tried to carjack a motorist and were arrested, authorities said.
"We could have had a disaster here in Oaklyn," Camden County Prosecutor Vincent Sarubbi said Sunday night after police said they uncovered the trio's cache of guns, knives and swords in this small town near Philadelphia.
Matthew Lovett, 18, was arrested along with two boys, ages 15 and 14, whose names were not released. They were charged with attempted murder, weapons offenses and attempted carjacking. Sarubbi said he would seek to have the 14- and 15-year-olds tried as adults.

Lovett, who is accused of pointing a gun at the police officer who arrested him, also was charged with aggravated assault, Sarubbi said.
Authorities seized two rifles, a shotgun, two handguns, two swords, several knives and 2,000 rounds of ammunition. Additional weapons were found at Lovett's home. Sarubbi said the weapons belonged to Lovett's father and were legal.
A phone message left Sunday night with his father, Ron Lovett, was not returned. In an interview with CNN on Monday, he described his son as a good youngster who became "kind of withdrawn" after his mother died nine years ago.
Lovett, who described himself as a gun collector and target shooter, said his son was never interested in guns. "I don't think he'd know how to use one," he said.
Later in the morning, a family spokesman, Tom Crymes, read a letter from Ron Lovett offering his apology "for what my son has done" and expressing the hope his son would receive counseling.
Sarubbi said the attacks had been planned over the course of several months. The suspects intended to target people at random once they had attacked specific victims, police said.
Sarubbi said three people believed to be intended victims were notified Sunday of the alleged plot. The prosecutor declined to identify them, but police indicated they were students.
Mathew Rich, 34, who reported the carjacking attempt, said he was leaving for work when he saw the three teens, dressed in trench coats and standing in front of Oaklyn Public School.
One crossed the street in front of him, opened his coat to reveal a handgun, then signaled for his friends. Rich said he drove around them, then notified police.
When Rich returned to the area after driving to the police station, he saw the weapons being confiscated.
"These guys were ready for a war," Rich said.
Lovett was ordered held in Camden County Jail on $1 million bail. The younger suspects were being held at the Camden County juvenile detention center.

Its alright. In Highschool this kid came to my school with a list of people he was gonna kill. The kids whose name appeared on the list were brought to the office and told what happened and everything like that. Yours truely was beaten only by my partner in crime in the first place position. All because I called him a dumb shit and blew up his electronics project... Who knew?
The kid supposedly had guns and shit that he could access easily at home. Needless to say he got sent to some rehab or some shit like that down in Maryland or somewhere near there and his father and had to move with him. I then proceeded to bang his kid sister who was pretty hot.
Hey I figured that was my collateral damage. Fucker shoulda never had me on the list or I wouldnt have fucked his sister raw... Poor child had no clue what she was doing... She wasnt a virgin but she only did the missionary a few times. She was 15 and I was 17.
Then this other time yours truely was once again on a hit list (but not nearly as high as the other kids) because I used to make fun of him cause hes a pedofile (ended up getting thrown into county for pedofilia, child pornography of little boys) and just fucking freaky.
Im pretty sure the bulk of my HS class hated my guts because I was a real asshole. I was pretty popular though and almost everyone was friendly to me. Mainly because the ones that werent friendly got their reputations ruined.
I remember this one time this kid (football player and shit) was trying to start with me. This was when I was like 210lbs and he was making fun of me cause I was fat (I really really was too) and so I got pictures of his girlfriend (my "friend" at the time) cheating on him with some guy and then later that night fucking him. It was a real ego buster. You may ask why Id do that to her to get back at him. Well the girl was a real bitch when they started dating so I owed her a bit of payback too. So not only did I ruin his ego but I got to show everyone her true self. Flyers are a great way to get back at someone.

man, you are so right.
if it were me, i would have a 9 mil, and an assault rifle. if i could not get my hands on an assault rifle, then it would be a semi auto 12 gauge with a small banana clip.
the only other things i would take would be a shank, (hunting knife) in case shit got hectic, and extra ammo.
you are right, its lucky people are so fucking stupid, because anybody with brains can do some real damage. At least they had the right amount of people. Three would probably work the best. Crowd control, cop stopper, and the standard homicidal raving lunatic.
maybe we should stop talking about this before barts site gets closed down under suspicion of terrorism lol.

I've seen a picture of the 19 year old. What is the facination with really skinny guys and swords? For the most part, if you want to do damage, ya gotta put some weight into the swing/sweep. Not to mention how completely in-effective swords are as far as killing sprees go.
Secondly, why trenchcoats? You could just as easliy stuff several pistols, knives, and ammuntion in a Hoodie that's one size to big for you. The shotguns and rifles? Bring a Duffel bag, you'll look like your coming/going to wokr-out, no suspicion.
Finally, why all the fire-arms, most fantisizing children fail to realize the most effecttive killing-sprees only utilize ONE accurate hand-gun and ONE larger weapon as to hold the police at bay and dust large crowds at once.

Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to lash out at society.
