Well, my doctor dumped me on citalopram (Celaxa for you Yanks) about a week and a half ago to combat my panic attacks and social anxiety, plus the depression he thinks I suffer from. Panic attacks seem to be lessening to the point where I don't freak out before leaving the house (yay!) plus I've lost about a stone in ten days. Ais is a happy girly. I'm nearly back down to 8st 7lb. Anyways I was rummaging through my old scribblings and found this. Its part of a poem I wrote while I was stuck in hospital with anorexia.
There's humiliation in self-hatred,
And the bitter-sweet aftertaste of triumph.
Self-punishment or self-improvement?
Definitions side, depending on perspective.
Deserving of my hatred?
Myself? Or the excesses I bear?
It's not myself I hate. Just
the fleshy awkward body that I own.
Stripping it down. Molecule by
ugly molecule.
Bare essentials. Not fleshy
But bones and skin
Carrying the burden of though.
Brittle but less fallible,
Than mortal bodies.
Thoughts can shatter with one glance.

Most of the drugs doctors prescribe people for mental problems leave them more fucked up than when they started taking the medication.
Considering people don't even really know exactly how most of this shit works, well, enjoy the fucked up life you're swallowing every day.

I could never breed with an American. Plus - although I'm a broke student, £1000 is not enough to make up for the damage it'd do to my body.
Anyway, do you really want an athlete with a family history of extreme mental illness? My little sister's a professional rider though, and she's almost as tall as me. She'd probably do it for a new horse.
