I thought I would share with you a bunch of books that are recommended if you want to pursue investing in any way.

A lot of trading books are arrogant and insufferable, but some are well done and quite interesting. After all, it's a great premise: Markets are essentially a bunch of people gripped in mob behavior and gathered for the sole purpose of taking each other's wealth. You can find the backdrop used quite successfully in fiction (Tom Wolfe's "The Bonfire of the Vanities") autobiography ( Jesse Livermore's "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator") and sociology. Charles Mackay, who wrote "Common Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds" in 1841, examined financial panics of the 1600s and came away with gems like, "Men go mad in crowds, and they come back to their senses slowly and one by one."

Well, chump - sorry champ, I'm a member at ridgewood, which I am sure someone of your stature has played or your name is at least on the waiting list to play it next time you're in town.
If I'm with one of my two friends we'll play Orchard Hills - a 9 hole public, You would never be seen dead there so I would not even bother asking you to stoop to that level.
Of course since I'm a Ridgewood member I often get invites to play at other major clubs in the area, not sure if I'd be abe to bring you though, its more for high net worth individuals. sorry.

So basically you are paying what 20K per year to learn, but you wouldn't purchase any of the above books that give you an excellent mix of theory and real world experience?
Of course if you are not interested in investing that another story altogether, but you are doing economics.
