I'm 18, and working a terrible part-time job at Lou Malnati's (A Chicago Pizza Joint). Now, recently, the job sucked even more so than it did before, so I decided I was not going to show up. I knew I'd be fired, and that job-hunting is a bitch, but come on, what would you do in my shoes? Get slammed with shitty hours doing the worst part of the job during the big game, or sitting back with your buddies watching the Bears lose (sadly)...
Anyway, they have yet to call me and tell me I'm fired. It's Wed. right now. The only notice I had from being fired was from this text message I found after the game from a co-worker.

sucka, i work at hollywood viedo. we had the game on all the tvs in the store, iunlimited food and drink, and a good ass speaker system. plus, i got paid to watch it. my job rox lou's sox.

ah... 18. I vaguely remember 18. I didn't have much of a work ethic at 18. I seem to recall ditching jobs back then in this same fashion because they interfered with some big party or hot date. I'd say you have your priorities straight. For 18.
