Here is a message to all those people out there who believe in 'going with the flow'.

Before i start, i'll clarify what (in my eyes) 'going with the flow' constitutes. It is based upon the idea that one should just let things happen - that one should not try to intefer with the course of events, whatever they may be. Now, I understand, that to a large extent there are many things in life which we cannot alter, and that we should not try to alter - however, when it comes to what we DO have control of, surely we should have some fight in us?

There are a hell of a lot of things out there, which sure as hell aren't easy.

Is love worth fighting for?

Is true friendship worth fighting for?

Are dreams worth chasing?

Is it worth fighting to make a difference?

My answer to these questions is a definite "Hell yes".
"Going with the Flow" is for fucking pansies, who don't have any strength or will to stand up for anything they want - anything they believe in.
"Going with the Flow" - is just a nice way to say you've given up trying to be your own person.

If we all went to 'fight for our love' , as you state it ....

It would be exactly like it is today ....

Well that's a brilliant lil' nugget of philosophy if I ever did see one.

Your questions all contain the unwritten assumption that the other person/people/entity involved shares your goals.

Is unreturned love worth fighting for?
Is true friendship worth fighting for if it will never be acknowledged?
Are unrealistic dreams worth chasing?
Is it worth fighting to make a difference to no one?

Feel *and* Think, then Act. But definitely act.

Depends on your definition of "Going with the flow". Personally, I think its more like "Don't sweat the small stuff" than "just give up and let life have its way with you"...perspective is everything.

Is love worth fighting for?
--

I don't think you should have to fight for Love. It's either there or it isn't; forcing it turns into Rape and, contrary to what you hear on here, it isn't 'Good'
