The people who hate Valentine's Day just because it's a Hallmark holiday are as bad as the ones who love it. What's wrong with celebrating a romance? It doesn't have to be about spending money. As if greeting card companies care about the ten dollars they lose on your socially rebellious statement.

I agree with the majority of this. The difference is the Christmas holiday has become the commercial holliday. Valentines day has always been that, which is why I hate it.

I read some Valentine's day cards and a thought occurred to me....
A particular card mentioned something about wanting to be with the card recipient FOREVER. I was thinking "A guy who gives a girl this is a fucking liar. A girl who gives this to a guy is a fucking psycho! I hope to god I don't get one of these cards come tomorrow.... How can I say, with a straight face, "Oh gee. Thanks.... So now I'm praying for the end of time, to hurry up and arrive. Cuz if I gotta spend another minute with you, I really don't think that I can survive..etc." Forever is simply too strong of a word...

As for the two progeny already in existence, there are two possible routs you can take: neuter them, or kill them.
