Fridges in Europe suck ass. In some respects the quality of life there is still informed by the thought that the whole continent was destroyed by a war and so there's still some residual suffering to be had, and everyone's just going to have to live without some conveniences. Don't even get me started on the clothes washers.
And to the person who was having trouble shopping for bras: shop online. For some reason a lot of the best retailers and/or manufacturers are based in the UK.
