Well this is my first post, mostly because I couldn't think of anything for anyone else worth reading. But today, I just feel like expressing my hatred. I didn't used to hate CNN so much, but now I don't have much of a choice since I work at a hotel and it's on ALL THE FUCKING TIME! So bring on the insults!!!
Ok well it doesn't suck that bad. I know that everything they report I'm sure isn't true, but it is at least interesting (some of the time).
Anyway, what I hate most about CNN and channels like it is that they are repeating the exact same thing over and over again, and most of the time not even in different words. It's like just in case you didn't catch it last week, we've played it continually since then so no one can miss it.
The other thing that bothers me, is that it is on ALL THE TIME repeating the same bullshit over and over. Who gives a flying fuck anymore about Britney Spears freaking out and Anna Nicole Smith's death and her kid and who's the daddy and blah blah blah. What happened to all the news about the troops over in our war (not that I like hearing about it), but don't you think it's a little more important?? I think they could at least pick up a couple murders and make it more interesting than Britney Spears, even if it's a little more depressing.
Well, there's my rant, not like I can change it, but I was hoping there's somebody out there who want the people at CNN headquarters to die and burn in hell as much as I do.

Hi Stephy.
I understand your aggravation, but it's really to be expected when you're viewing a 24 hour news channel. I mean, there's only so much interesting shit that happens during the day, so there's bound to be repetitions. You gotta catch your viewer base with the most riveting stuff at the peak times... meaning they'll repeat their stories at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a few times in between just so they seem like they're on top of things to anyone who happens to tune in at any time.
The people at my work used to listen to a local news radio station...aaaaaall day it was the same boring crap, over and over. I feel your pain. Just block it out, dude.

I enjoy CNN. Perhaps you could show up at their headquarters and express your opinion in person about what news they choose to show?
It's not that hard to find, right by the Olympic park in downtown Atlanta. You know, the corner where there's the fountainish thing that gross children run around in and where the tired prostitutes rest. And the stupid ice cream truck. Why is it necessary to blast the same looping 30 seconds of shit music at a deafening level?
Anyways, if it really irritates you, go ahead and bitch to the people who matter, or go crazy at work and make the news yourself.
