Road I do remember that one but not the name. I had a dream when I was little that a goose pulled me out of bed tied me to a tree and laid and egg on my head. It was the most terrifing dream,for the life of me I don't know why. Now I know where it came from : )

Do you know the name of the Seuss story about the boy who claimed to his teacher that he was late to school because a bird laid an egg in his hair?
I think it could be "Timmy Is Late"?
I know a lady in her 80's who recites wonderfully well, I have her on tape telling this story. It is touching not only because she is such a skilled storyteller, but because she also was a school teacher herself once.
The telling of stories in the oral tradition is art of the highest order, in my opinion.
