The goldfish are swimming again. I replaced them when the last ones stopped.
The tiny neons have the current attention of the cat, which paws at the glass trying to get them. I laugh, as last time the cat took an interest in them, it fell in trying.
The red tailed shark is the mean one, as its kill count is up to twelve, not counting the Beta fish. Red has really calmed down since attacking the newest addition to the tank, a glass floater in the shape of a fish. Red poked his own eye out trying to kill it. It's been a week since he's lost the eye, and is still going after it. Gotta love that level of dedication.
There are near twenty black mollies. They keep breeding. They've waged war in competition for space and resources. They'll pick up a colorful rock from the bottom and drop it on an unsuspecting fish. They're still terrified by Red. He chases the whole group, and I like to watch twenty fish swimming away in unison. The mob mentality works both in anger and fear.
The castle is home to the mighty cleaner fish. It is the only one with a purpose. Cleany. It's a tiny catfish, and is the only one who is safe from Red.
The tank heater is the general location of Jerry, the angelfish. I keep the water fairly warm for them, but he's just abnormally close to it. I know he's not supposed to be in water that warm, but really, why is he that close?
There's the bubble chest that I put in there. It's the same kind as in Finding Nemo. It entertains me, especially when a fish gets hit by the bubble.
There is a group of fish that I can't remember what they are, but I bought them to make the tank look colorful and swim amongst the plants.
The pirate ship and the arches are the surroundings of the painted glass fish. They're injected with non-harmful coloring, but it wore off, so I lose them every now and then.
The pencil fish stay near the water cycling pump. I have no idea why, but they like to get pushed downward by the waterfall created by the pump.
I also have a punishment for the fish. I have two Beta fish, separated by a divider in their separate tank. They occasionally demand a sacrifice, so I put one in it's half. I'll also on occasion remove the divider and watch the violence, just to maintain the element of surprise. I let the winner stay on, and I'll replace the loser. Red has killed 3 on separate occasions.
There's the crayfish that swims with the tiger barb and the clownfish. Somehow, they've formed a chain gang and have been raiding and pillaging the local towns and villages.
This is all contained in a massive tank. It's an amazing feeling of power and superiority. I decide who lives and who dies.

My wife and I had like 8 aquariums (aquaria?) in our apartment in college. Veeeery calming.

I have fish that I don't want....zebra danios, a gigantic creepy pleco, a handful of glassfish, and some kind of mini shark (and a few others I don't remember).
Your glassfish were injected with color??>>>>>F?S>FSDJSV KEWF THAT IS SO CREEPY AND WRONG
