Their shoulders are buried too deep to stand upon,
Marley's religion was his music, peace and death,
Who knows what caused Morrison's final breath?
Heroes are fallen like Kings in on the field,
Luther's fighting spirit was forced to yield,
Thirty-nine his lot, Hicks had seven less,
George and John left Beatles in distress.
Syd's crazy diamond fell shattered on the floor,
Janis is gone, Jerry's been shown the door,
Keef's still here, defying them all again,
Shane's already there, only question's when.
Ronnie (and some others) had to come back down,
Cash got on his horse and left this dusty town,
Along with Freddie who took all that was unique,
While after the moon did Entwhistle seek.

Goddamit, I don't suppose proof-reading the thing first to ensure each line actually had an even number of beats would have helped the rating? There were about three mistakes in that department, after all.
