I started a fantasy baseball league on yahoo.
League has 12 teams.
Right now, no dues/payout, but that's up for debate.
Draft is tentatively set for 3/31. This can be changed, based on consensus.

I'm looking to start a dynasty league that goes on year after year - preferrably with a nominal payout to the winner. That means that I'm looking for people who are going to keep their team updated for the duration of the season from April to October. This is a great opportunity to trample other uber people in the hallowed spirit of competition, talk all kinds of trash, or just learn about baseball.

For Dave's benefit, here's how it works:
-The draft. We all get together at a set time in a java chat type thing that sorts the players we pick. The date and time are change-able. It works in a line, back and forth. The person who picks first in the first round will pick last in the second round.
-The season goes from early April to mid October. There are games every day, with the exception of a few days in mid-July for the all-star break. You need to set your roster in advance, which could be daily, weekly, or whenever you want. It's advisable to check in a few times a week, incase you have any injuries that need to be substituted out.
-The matchups are weekly. For example, I could be versus sicosemen for week 1, and bob could be versus orgasmatron. The baseball-players' totals for the week will be the owner's score.
I'm probably only making this more confusing.

They will autodraft players for you if you can't make it. You just rank the players ahead of time.

Ok now I am here, I need to understand how this league works, I seem to think it is weekly one on one rather than a cumulative thing. (Or maybe as well as a cumulative thing).
Also how exactly does the draft work? And how long does it last bearing in mind it is gonna happen at 11pm my time and I have work the next day.
I hate that I am so easily lead.
