Last night I saw a commercial for the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC. Now, I'm familiar with the concept of the show, and I'm very happy that Screech won last year, but while ABC was dazzling me with their list of "celebrity" contestants, I couldn't help but realize that I had no clue who any of them were. Except Billy Ray Cyrus. I remember him, although I did not realize that he was a "star." Thank you, ABC, for making the hard-working folks over at VH1 feel good about themselves again.

I saw Billy Ray Cyrus in the lobby of the hotel I used to work at once, and the ladies there sure treated him like a star.
