Well since Frank has extended the contest I may as well toss my hat in the ring.
It seems we are all defined by the same things so it’s just a matter of going a little beyond the other geeks.
So, shall we?

Advanced D&D. had all the books, made my own character sheets on the printing press at school. Maxed out Elvin fighter/magic-user with a questionably legal combo Staff of the Magi/ Staff of Power.
Dice galore, it must have been seven or eight sets including a cool set of crystal blue ones.
Oh yeah the books 1st addition Fiend Folio and Deities and Demi-gods that included Cthuluh and Elrick mythos characters that were not licensed by TSR. A minor oversight

It wasn’t just AD&D, though that was the big one. Spent a little time playing Tunnels and Trolls, Chill, Top Secret, and Marvel RPG, as well.
When time didn’t permit a quick game of Dungeon the board game would do fine.

As for board games Steve Jackson Games rocked. They came in these small black plastic cases. Car Wars was the shit, picture the cars in Mad Max with flaming oil jets and machine guns fighting it out.
Yes of course I had a subscription to Auto Duel Quarterly, didn’t everybody?
Ogre was another fine SJG but not geeky enough till you made your own vehicles like airplanes and motorcycles, which I did.

Video games
We are all pretty even here I would guess, you either got it or you don’t.
I got an Atari 2600, Nintendo, N64, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, game cube, Wii, PS 1, 2, and 3, X-box, and two 360’s. Not to forget the game boy, Game boy color, and DS.

Five of them actively connected to TV’s right now

Comic books
Wow, where do I go? All my collection (several hundred) are stored on boards, in bags, in boxes, nice and safe. The other half are in digital form either on disk or a removable hard drive.
Remember kids, when it comes to scanned comics if you like it, buy it.

Some high points are the 1st series Alpha Flight, The 1st printing of the Dark Phoenix saga, the giant sized Spiderman vs. Superman cross over and a few X-men and Spider Man back when the cover price was .12 cents!
No I didn’t by them new, I’m not that old.
Despite wanting to be a Green Lantern, I gotta go Marvel over DC. I’m trying to get Orphelia to see the light, but she’s stubborn.

Dr Who
I’ve been falling down that time vortex before many of you were born. They say you never forget your first Doctor and mine was Jon Pertwee, Doctor number Three. Like most Yanks, Tom Baker
Number Four was the one that got us all hooked. The wild hair, the scarf and of course Sarah Jane.

I know what “behind the sofa” means.
I made a motor driven K-9 out of card board when I was ten years old!
I have full size, replicas with sound and lights of David Tennant’s and Matt Smith’s Sonic Screwdrivers in a display case.

Random Geekiness
I waited four hours to see Return of the Jedi.
I have a lightsaber, I had Han’s blaster.
Han absolutely shot first, fuck Greedo
I know why the Kessle Run is bragged about in parsecs and not how much time is needed.
I had a pet rock and a pet UFO
I have a glow in the dark chunk of Kryptonite that was sold at movie theaters when the first Superman movie came out.
I have a bunch of MEGO super hero action figures (NO THEY ARE NOT DOLLS)
Including the Star Ship Enterprise, play set with working Transporter
I know the words to the Star Trek theme song (not really)

And I have this thing
and no I don’t know what the hell it’s supposed to be either.

slver & Apollo LUCAS NEVER MAKES MISTAKES except Jar-Jar....and Ewoks....and Annie Skywalker

And a profoundly ignorant misunderstanding and implausible application of e-mc^2 as it relates to c travel as it was understood at the time?

To be fair, he never claimed to be a physicist.

Pheely- I never said I preferred comics on discs, just that I have them. You know I'm an ink and paper guy.

Frank- nice description of the Kessel run but thats what I said in the post. Pilots brag over how short a distance they can do it with out getting black holed

No that is a rationalization after Lucas fucked up.

There's still debate about this? Of course Lucas fucked up. This stupid point has been argued to death.

Good grief, FALLEN. Lose a hobby.
Yeah, you read that right.

not too shabby! and for the record: the kessle run is defined in distance rather than speed because intersteller travel is all about navagating the shortest route around planets, suns, gravity wells, black holes, asteroid belts, ect. it's basically saying that in star wars, the fastest ships areen't actually faster than any other, they just have better navagational computers

Tennant is a good doctor to jump in on.
I've seen a few surveys that put him above Baker in all time fave doctor.
That's a big deal

See, I didn't get into DR Who until recently (Tennant) and since I don't get BBC America, I am forced to use Netflix to get my fix.

I never got into Wars or Trek. Just boring to me. Not really a SciFI guy.

All of the systems I mentioned...yeah, all currently hooked up to my television by way of 3 AV cable hubs and 2 surge potectors.

Fallen, I know we have fallen' out of favor here recently so don't take this -2 to heart but why the fuck are you even associating yourself with this?

The above wasn't necessarily a question so please do not answer.
